I've had this app for a couple years now and love it. For one thing the tech support is very helpful. When I have a problem they always help me resolve it quickly and efficiently. This app does a great job managing my lists. I used the list templates like the grocery list and the book list and I've also created my own lists. It also allows me to backup the databases via email or by copying the backup to my laptop hard drive. I think it's the best list software for the Apple devices.

Have used ListOmni Lists for (well, can't remember, but at least 10-11 months)... It has most everything you would need in a list program. Clean, well laid out interface, easy one page data entry, great feature set. Customer support, in app documentation as well as online help information is very, very good. I've received step by step direct email support a couple of times (with very quick response!). Not many developers put that much time and effort into documentation and customer support. Mid last year I researched, trial'd, and purchased other list apps. Found and purchased ListOmni Lists, and haven't looked back. Even revisited the competitors' offerings a few days ago (because of the 2.4.4 bug, which is now solved!), but still find ListOmni Lists on the top, in my opinion. Great App!

This is one of the most feature-rich apps I've ever seen. The customization is unbelievable. The attention to detail is awesome. I use this app more than any other on my iPhone. By far the best list app available.

7/22/10 Seems like app badge counting works again with new update after iOS 4 update. Cool. Makes a huge difference when it works. -------------------- Now with "multitasking" (fast app switching and state resuming) -- an excellent feature for an app like this. But no local notifications, yet. Even push notifications would be better than nothing... Make the scheduling component of the app much, much more useful. I really like the list search feature. However, I would like to see the search mode automatically switch the list filter temporarily to show all items (checked and unchecked) upon showing search results, and then revert back to the previous list filter on exiting search mode. For lists with many items, like grocery lists, this would simplify locating and unchecking items while eliminating several actions, yet the grayed appearance of checked items makes it obvious that those items are hidden under the list filter that shows unchecked items only. Also, I really wanted an "Uncheck Existing" option when promoted about adding duplicate items... and there it is. A sensible and very handy feature. --------------------- Version 2.4.1: Yet another decent update. So many well-thought-out features to begin with, with more coming every update. I haven't made paper to-do or grocery or supply or shopping lists in over a year. ------------- One of my 3 most used apps (along with Music and Calendar)... Also, this developer seems dedicated to product improvement and customer service, which is not always the case. Well done all around.

I purchased this when it first came out and it's only gotten better with the updates. I keep all of my lists here: groceries, to dos, gifts, travel lists, budgets, etc. and I've never had a need for another list program. Everything is fully customizable so that you can arrange your list how it's most efficient for your own work flow. Well worth the money!

I have used ListOmni for about 2 years now. It is my very favorite app on my iphone. I keep all lists here and it is very powerful and easy to use. The best part is this: when I have a question, I just send and email to the ListOmni support team and I get a very rapid response that is always helpful and, again, extremely quick. Thanks ListOmni!! Great products sell themselves. Paul

8/15/10 Yup. Badge count updating totally unreliable since iOS 4. Am I the only one? 8/10/10 Nope. This app no longer deals with/switches the date properly, unless closed completely (from "multitasking" dock) and relaunched. Starting to wish I stayed with OS 3.x. 8/4/10 Badge count updating is still messed up. In fact, the whole "multitasking" update (iOS 4) really has messed up and destabilized the iPhone (in exchange for some great features). Glad Apple took their time to "get multitasking right". Can't imagine if they hadn't. App also crashes a lot more since iOS 4. Good luck playing catch-up, developers. 7/30/10 Correction: badge counting now works some of the time. Also, another quirk is that editing lists sometimes creates a "ghost" duplicate of the list name until the app is relaunched. And the app doesn't seem to resume with the last list viewed when launching "fresh" (app not in multitasking dock). Also, today the app is showing items for Today, but they are dated the 29th (yesterday). Today's items appear under Tomorrow. -------------------- Now with "multitasking" (fast app switching and state resuming) -- an excellent feature for an app like this. I have many list apps, but this one is the only one that I use. It's interface is user friendly, I love how it starts looking for regularly used items when I start an entry, the division of sublists, etc. I might even dump my todo list manager if this synced with Toodledo somehow. But for now, every list except my todo and contacts: all on listomni. Thank you, developer!
 D-Brief
No need to use any other list app than this one. Nothing else comes close. It is flexible and powerful. You can use it simply or in very creatively. I would like to see a dedicated desktop version. Get this now.

Previously I used a Palm phone, and one of the reasons I switched to iPhone only recently is I had grown used to the applications on the Palm. Handy Shop was one of those must-have apps, but Listomni is so much more capable and easy to use. I am a software developer, and this is really fine design and implamentation.
 Mr. Zyler
9/2/10 So weird... But the badge count seems to have started working again for no apparent reason, but the app still doesn't switch dates if left "open in the background" overnight. I have used Listomni Lists for 2 years and am extremely happy with it. I can configure it to do anything I want to by list, including multiple sort orders, and the developer has continued to support and improve what it does. In the past the app has occasionally crashed or needed to be restarted, but this was infrequent and the app appears to be very stable now. Listomni allows me to email a list to anyone not using Listomni, a really useful feature. Before Listomni, I used SplashShopper and SplashID on my Palm Treo; I put off buying an iPhone until the 3G, when the SplashData people provided Shopper & ID programs for the iPhone. Unfortunately, they were not identical versions, and I finally had to give up on SplashShopper because it was so cumbersome to use. I bought and discarded at least 5 other iPhone list manager apps until finally discovering Listomni.

For the past year this was the perfect organizer and list app for me! I have depended on it for groceries, gifts, to do lists, etc. I would have given it 5 stars before. I recommended it to my family and friends. Now, I give it only 2 stars! It will not allow me to add new items to my lists, it crashes, and it acts as though it has a mind of its own. It's worthless to me now! Will I have to find a new list app, or will they quickly fix the bugs?
 ODog1998
I use this app daily. Great way to stay organized.
 denied1313
This is a great help, I do a lot of grocery shopping from recipes. Using listomni, I enter the recipes then when needed, copy the contents into the grocery list. Easy to do and they are most helpful, "Ben" really added to my understanding and answered my questions so that I could understand. Well worth the cost.
 Crickett2
There is absolutely no end to the things you can do with this app. Just when you think you know how to do everthing it is capable of; they add a new update with still more and more features. Most apps do an update with just a few features. Not this one; when they do an update it is packed with new features. I use this app for everything! If you need a list app I promise you can't go wrong with this one.
 Mr. Zyler
2/21/11 Does not properly resume previous state/screen when launching after being closed completely, but it handles "multitasking" fine. This app could REALLY use background/local notifications, at least for updating the badge count. Until then, it is "manual notifications" only... 9/2/10 So weird... A Tale of 2 Shopping ListsI havent tried all of the shopping list managers available for the iPhone/iPod-Touch--nowhere near, actually. But I have tried several that looked like the best based on their descriptions and reviews. I have 2 clear favorites: Listomni and Grocery IQ.List Omni is actually a general purpose list manager that comes with two preconfigurations, one for shopping lists and the other for to-dos. Grocery IQ is a more specialized product. Either list manager can be extended to manage shopping for non-grocery items. I.e., they can also keep you organized vis-a-vis your needs at the hardware store, pet supply store, etc.; but all the pre-entered products in either list manager are strictly items that may be found in supermarkets.Thats not such a big deal though. Both programs learn new items as you enter them, so once youve typed, say, "monkey chow," into either list, you wont have to enter it again. After typing an items first few letters, either programs "predictive search" (thats the term that Grocery IQ uses, but it works the same way in Listomni and in many other list managers) will find the item for you.Of the two programs, Listomni is actually better for shopping multiple venues because it allows you to specify the stores that different items should be attached to. E.g., Listomni on my iPhone knows which items I want to buy at Albertsons, which at Trader Joes, or at Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc. Grocery IQ lacks this ability to organize by store. Both programs keep track of supermarket isles though, so you can pick up everything you need at one end of the store before moving on to the next section.Grocery IQ’s most attractive feature (at least to me) is the astounding 130,000+ grocery items in its predefined database. At least, that’s the number its Apple Store description boasts and I don’t doubt it. When I searched for Lapsang Souchang (my favorite tea), it found 7 varieties, including a pan fried one--I wish I knew which grocery chain stocks that! I had to try for 15 minutes before I could confound Grocery IQ with an item obscure enough not to be listed—and even then it knew the general category (granite counter top cleaners) and had a dozen entries in it, just not my favorite. Of course, I’ve since added it and now that one’s there too.Listomni’s greatest weakness is that it’s slightly less intuitive than most shopping list managers. It’s very feature rich and so there’s a slight learning curve. However, if you follow the built in help, I’d say the program takes no more than 10 minutes to master. If you then go for a week or two without using Listomni, you might have to take a refresher course on one or two of the features. Grocery IQ, on the other hand, requires no learning at all. It has built in, context sensitive, help that pops up in every situation (unless you tell it to stay away from now on); but even without it, I believe most iPhone-proficient users would understand and utilize all the features instantly.Price: Grocery IQ: $1.99; Listomni: $6.99 (Listomni also offers a less expensive, presumably more specialized, product that I haven’t tried. It’s named, for some odd reason, “Groceries Grocery List” and costs $0.99.)Despite its higher price, I prefer Listomni to Grocery IQ because of the former’s power, flexibility, and its greater adaptability to multi-venue shopping. Grocery IQ is so much fun to use though (I love it when I enter Bounty and it pops up 49 varieties of paper towels, napkins, and one of coffee, and then tells me that there are more than 50 Bounty products available and I should refine my search), that I actually use both programs, redundantly entering all my items twice just for the heck of it.

Very nice appVery easy to find things on the list. Has most everything I need. Good price too. Almost bought their grocery list maker yesterday but saw that it is bundled with this one. Pretty good deal.
