I find myself only picking this game up so I can get my money's worth. The puzzles make huge leaps in logic, where you have to find random objects or backtrack through a level and choose the right random conversation to progress the story. Way too slow-paced and nonsensical for my tastes.

An excellent iphone portation of an excellent game! I did not know it in advance and I loved it even more than Broken Sword! Both of them are my absolute favorite games on the iPhone. Well done and thanks a lot for those both!

Let's just start off by saying I love this game. This is probably the only game I can see myself playing for more than an hour at a time on my iPod and it's for all the right reasons. Not only is it engaging and immersive, but it's also downright funny most of the time. Sure, a few puzzles might seem leaps of faith at first but as you get used to the style they seem less far-fetched. Plus, for the price it's certainly worth a try. This app is better than a lot of $5 or even $10 apps out there! I do have one caveat, however, and that is I experience random crashes occasionally on my iPod. This is probably because it's a 1st gen and has less RAM than later models, but the game has consistently quit on me during moments that are crucial to game progression and as a result, I can no longer play it. I don't want to write about a specific problem I have here, but it seems the support on Revolution's website is a bit scant and so I could only think to bring it up here. Please check what heppens when you try to give the magazine to the guy at Travelco! I have the magazine but the game quits whenever I try to use the magazine with him or even just talk to him, even after a reboot. I love this game and I'd really like to be able to play it again! Just to recap though, excellent game. Get it.

This was a great point in click back in the day. I don't think we will see a sequal because a sequal was never produced. This game while revamped, still uses all the original sprites minus the new cut scenes. A sequal would have to be created from the ground up. You can find "Scumm VM" emulators for your psp that run the orignal and others like it.

I debated if I should buy this game, I'm glad I did. It's a great game. Lots of fun to play, keeps you entertained for hours. At only $1 you can not go wrong. Buy it now before it goes back up, although it's worth more.

but right now, on my ipad: 1) it crashes immediately upon launch (i'm right at a point, I guess, where the game just crashes upon loading my state) 2) they go ahead and "add ios4 compatibility", but really, they just made it ios4 ONLY -- so now my ipad can't update it anymore, so gone are hopes of an update fixing things! I have emailed their support email and heard nothing for four days already.

Developers what were you thinking? IOS 4 only? Do you guys even know that the I-pad doesn't even have that option yet? It seems everyone else can make there apps work on all platforms. This worked fine on my I-pad before it was updated now it doesn't work at all. Please fix it.

This is a great game and I bought it to show my support for the developers' hard work despite the fact that this game is freeware on the PC. However the latest update has made the game iOS4 only, deleting the game from my ipod and presumably all my saves. Now I can't play a game I paid good money for. Please support iOS3 again. I have no interest in upgrading my ipod 3g to an OS that was not tailored for it and will effectively make the performance worse.

The sound is great, and I like the subtitles for when I can't have the sound on. The game is every bit as smooth as it was on PC, but the interface is nicer. Overall, very well done!

Just what I was waiting for, i had it on iphone and with the purchase of my iPad I was disappointed it didn't make the conversion quicker but it was worth the wait, so much fun to play it on the iPad, and such a great adventure! Now bring on some Gabriel Knight, PLEASE!!!
