A very unique and original game. Great for those casual gamers out there who love Bejeweled, but often need something a little more intellectually challenging. Karmastar is fairly easy to pick up -- very easy to get addicted to -- but requires more strategy than your average casual game. Because each game lasts for only eight rounds, it provides the perfect "mental break" when you're having a long day, but can't take another lunch break. :-) Kudos to the developers.

This is just one of those little gems that is not just a simple strategy game. It's a card game, a board game, and a war game all in one. The premise had to have taken a while to develop. Coming up with the balance between playing it safe and taking chances (for greater rewards) took some thinking to get it right. I would like to see the game expand with more play modes, such as Internet (not just wi-fi), more game goals, additional wild cards, and the like. The developers of this are certainly capable of giving us more of the same fun. Great value, loads of playability, and just plain fun in under 10 minutes. You do a log thinking in such a short period of time. One big suggestion: offer quick references in the game for each wild card and bonus. I know you can switch screens to look it up, but until you get it all memorized, there has to be a better way to remind the player which card does what and what bonuses are available. One heck of a game. It's definitely on my first page of apps!

the game is really well thought out and nice. great if you enjoy card games with a little bit of dice/chance battle. the graphics look great and run smoothly. 2 ideas for future updates:1. more types of wildcards2. a mode to speed up game play. right now it's so slow i'm falling asleep.

I usually do not write bad reviews but I am just not a fan of this game. At first I thought 'what a creative concept' but once I played it, I found myself wondering why I even wasted my money. It needs different levels, themes or environments. I find it boring not to mention the lag time in between plays is too long. I wouldn't mind so much but the graphics are stuck in the 80s. My suggestion is to hold out for the lite version and see to for yourself.

KarmaStar is a great mini-strategy game that combines great art, sound and design into one cohesive package. Honestly, I think one of my favorite things about the game is the 8 turn limit . It really gives a perfect time frame to the game and allows it to be played anywhere on the fly. Highly recommended!
