For one the graphics are amazing and controls take great advantage of the iphone. Game play is also amazing. All in all this is deff one of the better games I play.

Updated review: Wow - with the addition of Open Feint, this has even better gameplay. The added achievements and leaderboards are great! I also appreciate the more detailed tutorials. Great game involving a bit of thinking. I really like how the game dynamics change based on explosions. Nice graphics. This is not a quick "shooter" game, but rather a strategy game that will (at least for me) take some time to work through. Nice job!

I was looking for a decent planetary "artillery" game, and would have been satisfied with a simple turn-based version. I even contemplated developing one myself, since the niche hadn't been properly filled. Then I discovered this game, and my search ended. I was a bit wary of an "action" artillery game since I'm usually more of a turn-based game fan. They give my slow brain time to ponder. But this action version turns out to be far better than the turn-based variety, even for someone like me who doesn't generally like that type of game. It turns out that there's an inherent balance in the action model: Sure you can fling out a couple of quick shots in hope for a lucky hit; but in that same amount of time you can take a few extra seconds to carefully aim, and you will be much more accurate. The inclusion of openfeint achievements was an outstanding decision, as well. I'm a BIG fan of this game. Very well implemented, and it has set a new standard for artillery-style games. BRAVO!

Tired of your ordinary games, well then you have to try Bombardiers Guild. The game is simple kill the enemy before they kill you. Actually it' far from being simple! Not only do enemies have shields, planets with their own gravitational pull stand in your way. Also you can adjust you angle nd power to make the most out of your shot. With OpenFient acheivements you can compare your scores with others. Also with achievements and diff difficulty levels, you'll never get tired of playing. If you would like to play a simply challenging game this is for you. So come and join the Bombardiers Guild!

I can't go into great detail, as iTunes keeps eating my reviews for this game, but what I can say is that this game is absolutely beautiful. The spectacular art direction elevates a very good game into the stratosphere; the entire game has such a cohesive steampunk aesthetic, right down to the OpenFeint notifications. The two-player, one device mode is one of the best you'll find on the platform, and the single-player campaign will also provide many ours of challenge. Highly recommended.

Wow, this is a great game. And, from an indie developer. I can't wait to see what else Quantum Toast comes up with next! As for Bombardiers Guild, it's probably one of the hardest, most rewarding games I have (and I have over 500 games). If you like trajectory based games, then this is the best of the best. The physics are perfect. The sounds are great. The OpenFeint integration is probably the nicest I've seen. I love the steampunk look of the graphics. The fog and the spotlight look great in the background. The most rewarding thing about the game is landing a perfect shot. Watching that rocket circle the planets and then hit the target is awesome. If you enjoy games like Worms, Blast Off!, Scorch, or Pocket Tanks, then you need to check this out. Highly recommeded!

This is a great game. This app would be a 10+ star game if you updated it to support the option to play a 2 player game via Wifi or Bluetooth. Two players on the the same itouch can be a little crowded. Please put this in the next update.

A great, addictive game has just gotten even better. The OpenFeint integration works like a charm and is fun. The good, very balanced score system makes the game a real challenge: you earn points when winning, but it's pretty hard to keep that score by not losing following matches. This mechanic makes it extra-addictive. And it's nice to have a comparison to other players (Global, Friends, Nearby), too!

Sometimes screenshots just don't do a game justice, and this is one of those times. You just have to play it to get how fun it is, and as others have mentioned, 2-player is great stuff. I don't know if there will be an ipad version, but I want to get an ipad just to play 2-player bombardier guild on it.

This is an awesome game. I have a few games where you have to play with planetary gravitational pull, and they either have you picking up astronauts, making as many laps possible, etc. This game has you firing rockets and using gravity to blow up the canon on the other side of the screen! Very Cool! I am really enjoying this one. To be honest, I am not very good at it (yet). Give me some time, I'll see what I can do. I contacted the developer with some questions and they are extremely Polite, Fast, and very helpful. This game is just a win win situation all around. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! Five BIG Stars!!!

This game is very addicting and hard to put down. It is a little difficult but that is why it is so fun. And now that it has open feint it just makes it that much better. I have not had the chance to play multi-player yet, but that also looks like a lot fun.

I've been playing this game off and on for the last two days. I'm very happy with how it plays. The interface etc. Is all very professionally presented and to tell you the truth, while there are tons of games using Open Feint, I've never seen it integrated as nicely as with Bombadiers Guild. I'm no ace at the game, but I don't find the game hard like others, I find it very relaxing and calculated. This is a great example of a talented indie developer making the best of the platform. Great game! Richard

Started playing this last night it a very addictive game. Taken me a bit to get used to it but it not that difficult that it would stop you playing. Great graphics and evey game is different would recommend to anyone who likes a challenge. Well worth the price.
