The image processing is fantastic. It really brightens up the dull and dark pictures we all take with our iPhones. And I *wish* I could use it to clean up all my photos... but there are, unfortunately, some rather serious problems with v1.3: 1). The program fails to save the larger processed image about half of the time. It says it saved (and throws away your processed image), but when you go into the photos app, it's not there. 2). It does not retain the timestamp or geolocation metadata of the origional. For me, this is the deal-breaker. The timestamp and location of the photo are essential, and I cannot use a tool that throws these away. I have high hopes that the developers will fix these issues on a future release. If they do, I will change my rating to 5 stars and start recommending this app to my friends.

It saves at full-res don't listen to the children who don't know how to press buttons or check settings properly. Look out for over-sharpening - this app is gold.

I really like the results of this app, and I like the interface for editing photos, but I am very disappointed to find that I cannot save to full resolution. A max of 640x480 is certainly not worth the 2.99. I'm hopeful that improvements are forthcoming, because this has a lot of potential.

I've tried them all! and Perfectly Clear is the best one out there! I've taken three years in photography and am very anal about my pictures! Perfectly Clear makes the photos as perfect as can be! If any one disapproves it's their camera!

Works quite well but there is some baloney going on here. When you first load a photo, just as it finishes loading the photo, the App blurs the original, giving the impression that it us fixing the photo sharpness more than it really is. Check it out. Watch the original photo as it finishes loading. You can verify this by taking a screen shot of the original in the native photos App and a screen shot in this App. Dishonest to say the least.

If you're looking for one-click photo optimization this is definitely the best app (I'm pretty sure I have them all). You will still want Photogene or something for cropping and more customization, but for one-click automated processing I have to admit that I'm generally very happy with what this app comes up with. I use it ALL THE TIME.

A waste of some pretty nice algorithms, because without high resolution saving what's the point of fine tweaking. It has a nice subtle and smooth enhancement processing capabilities that are lost in and on Low Res final sizes, that are really unusable. Also if you put load in a well exposed picture and try to tweak it, seems the software exaggerates and degrades the "before" representation and dulls it on the iPhone display.

I've tried a variety of free and paid apps to enhance the quality of the iPhone pictures. I've found every choice to be either too simple (lacking adjustment controls) or too time-consuming. Perfectly Clear strikes an outstanding balance with highly controllable output, instant previews, and speedy processing. Personally, I feel that the "default" settings use far too much sharpening. I usually turn it down to about 1/3rd for best results. Bottom line: Pictures I thought were good came out significantly better. Not so good pictures enjoyed a big improvement.

I find that Perfectly Clear is the only app that consistently adjusts my photos so that the light and dark areas are not too overblown or shadowed. Well worth the money. This app also saves in full resolution which is a nice bonus. Only complaint: - PerfectlyClear crashes a lot and/or doesn't save the photo - over sharpens a lot of photos. that's a problem with the algorithms. I would say that this app is in need of an update since it was last updated in 2009.

I can't believe the difference this makes in my photos! I just took a snap of my dog under the table and it was so dark you couldn't see her. This app brought out all her color and features. Amazing!

I love what perfectly clear algorithms can do for photos and have used these products for publishing with very good results. On the iPhone,this app has the option of saving the image in full resolution. But unfortunately, on the iPad there are only 320x240 or 640x480 options making it totally useless. Once there is a fully functional iPad version I will definitely give this app five stars.

Updated: I find that the flaws eventually made this app unusable for me. Not recommended. Very simple photo editor with an interesting UI. You can compare before and after by sliding a divider between the two, showing the photo split. Default settings are very effective. Things I'd like to see: 1. Adjustments do not take place in real time. You move the slider, wait, see how the image is affected, move it again. 2. The split screen only splits vertically, not horizontally. 3. When you bring in the controls to adjust the image, the split moves (presumably so you can see the whole image). But, coupled with #1, makes it harder to make fine adjustments. Also, I seem to be able only to open images from Camera Roll, not from another album on my phone.
