I recently purchased this game for my son and am finding that I play it more than he does. Stellar graphics and good control once you get used to making smaller movements with the iPad. I highly recommend this app.

Had this game for about 24-hours and did the latest update, played fine for about 20-minutes and now crashes every time about 10-seconds after trying to start the game. :O/ *Now it seems to be working fine after hard starting my iPad. :O)

I read the notes on the latest fix about correcting the file corruption problem in the 1.02 update. However in my case 1.03 makes no difference. All of my game data is still lost and If I was interested I would have to start all over again. I checked the cloud site an confirmed there is no history. This is potentially a great game but having to start from scratch and no way to unlock cars and tracks when the developer corrupts your files is hopeless.

I love this game -- it is my favorite procrastination tool. Even though the update wiped out all my data. By far the best racer I've ever played (once you turn off the default auto acceleration and auto breaking controls). Only complaint is that there is not enough difference between the competitors cars within each vehicle class. Having more diversity in the performance characteristics as well as having the ability to upgrade your car over your career would allow for more exciting game play.

What a total waste of time! But it sure is FUN! I absolutely LOVE this game! I you have a friend who is on the fence about buying an IPAD, let them try this game. They'll be forking out the $$$ ASAP to buy it. Then you can race them on separate machines. This is the 5th or 6th game I have bought, but it is the best by far. Well worth the $10.00!! I DO sometimes have trouble with the personal "music" choices function; but that is so unimportant compared to the exhilaration of racing down the track. I look forward to improving through the increasing levels of difficulty (and competitors!). I can already see how the second level drivers are making it extremely competitive for me. The game controls are so simple to use (all you have to do is tilt the IPAD as if you are steering a car), but it is NOT EASY!!!! Very challenging!!

This game is fantastic, it leverages what the ipad is all about. I think you get more with this game than you do most $30 games based on the career mode, multiplayer, qualifiers, and time trials. The graphics on this game are better than most PS2 games, and really shows off the power that the A4 processor has. If you want your ipad to have purpose, get this game. It shows just how great software can be made when design intent matches the device.

Awesome graphics no doubt, but when I am using my iPad I don't feel like putting that much time into a game...I want something a bit more fun, engaging...this is like a real video game where u need to put hours into it to get really good. It's just not what I want in a game...awesome graphics though.

This game is very well designed using good graphics and intuitive, very customizable controls. The career mode is very fun and if one were to take the time to complete it, I'm sure they would be challenged along the way.

In the third person view, I would like the speedometer to be displayed. Please Firemint! I went to your website but couldn't get any contact information there. This game is awesome. Its hard though, so if you're a winer, then stick to Asphalt.

Ok. They took a ps2 put it in a trash compactor, magically implanted a screen into it that senses touch movement and fused it with a really good racing game.. That's the only explanation

Overall, this is great. My only issue is not having a map of the track in the HUD. Might just be missing the setting to turn it on. But it would help to be able to see the layout while you are driving.

The graphics are amazing and game play is solid. No stuttering or hang ups and the game play is smooth after a little tweaking.

This is definitely the best racing game I've played on the a mobile device, but surprisingly on any other platform as well. It is the only racing game I have played on the iPad though. While it lacks the graphics of an xbox 360 with FORZA etc, real racing HD is as, if not more, immersive and enjoyable an experience. There's something about the iPad being the steering wheel right in front of your face as well as the screen, coupled with the tilting horizon that really makes this feel like an awesome driving simulation. Ofcourse this game has miles to go in other aspects, such as graphics (and possibly a rewind feature like on forza?) as well as true online multiplayer, but judging by the level of quality so far it seems this developer "does work" and I have full faith in continued innovation and updates. Being able to use custom images for car paint jobs is a big plus. Something to possibly consider for the developer as well: an Additional control mode, where you can use a separate iphone via Bluetooth as the steering wheel? Just something to think a bout... Also, an optional mini map would be awesome...
