At first I thought this would be fun but pointless like a flip book. But you can actually publish it and make it look good! Totally worth the money

This is a great animation program. Has all the basics that you need to get started animating simple shots and scenes. But there are a few items that could really improve the app. First is the addition of layers with at least one or two being adequate. I'd love to draw a background and set it. The other layer could be used for a variety of purposes such as held frames, limited animation, and additional characters. The other improvement would be the ability to toggle how many frames of onion skinning you can see through. At only one you can't really get a grasp of the movement. 3 frames would be really helpful. Those are the 2 main sticking points. There are other minor things that could be worked on such as showing the frame rate number and reordering frames. Other than that, a good start. Looking forward to new versions.

This is a great basic animator, you can make simple animations and create a few basic shapes and manipulate them. What this app needs is layers, support each segment as an individual object for positioning and grouping of parts. It would also be great to be able to create animations and then be able to insert animations from one movie to the next so making face animations could be used on multiple movies. Or maybe a animation snippet tool in which I could make simple animations for use in multiple movies. Also it would be nice to see what other people are publishing in like a special player channel within the app.

I have been using this for a couple days now and must say it's a great animation tool in it's own right but where it has really shined for me is with my son! We are having a BLAST with it and we've even started to make our own cartoon episodes together! If your children like to draw and you want to bring their artwork to life BUY THIS APP !! They will be amazed!

I like the concept, just needs to be able to create objects that can be drawn once and copied to any frame. Also, if they could had special shapes already created, that would go along way in doing simple and compelling animations quickly and for fun. Ie: stars, squares, circles, arrows, polygon - that way we can create complex objects more easily. Also, the editor ui is kinda clunky. I would suggest having the buttons at the bottom apart of a bar that takes up just that area of the screen and don't let us draw there. It's not much area and right now I make marks down there if I miss a button. I won't be drawing down there anyway, right?

This program just needs a few things added to make it an incredible program, and according to the developers some of those things are coming! First, this program needs levels. Even if it had just three levels that would make for a better time creating. You could create a background, and then copy it for many slides. Adding that alone would make this app worth five dollars. Adding voice over would be awesome, and would add to the value of this app, and the developers have said it is coming. That would make this a great seven dollar app! There is a ton of potential for this app so I hope the developers keep up the good work. At the dollar pricing this app is a must own!

This is one of the best (may be the best) animation applications for iPad. It has good features, not super-professional, but enough to make nice animation on your device. I suggested author a new feature, and looks like he is going to add it: you draw only one picture (frame) and then the program repeats how you draw it - it's simple but very interesting to watch. This way you can draw some animated postcard, present card or just wright a text and then send this animated picture to friends, and the picture or text will start appearing right as you was drawing it. And of course this program has a lot of fun for children! They can make their own cartoons and show them to their friends and family :)

There is a limited amount that can be done with this program, since it lacks many essential tools and capabilities. One example is the lack of the ability to reposition separate items. This means that anything other than crude stick figure animations are impossible.

I must say, great app and easy to use, unfortunately my options on tools are too limited, and that hinders the ability to produce something useful. This app is merely a toy at this point. Fun toy but needs more tools and options, how about a more useful toolbar. I will give you five stars if a good update comes in soon.

This is a fun little app for making some quick little animations but it could really use a few more basic tools to make it truly awesome. Some suggestions would be the ability to re-order frames, a text type tool, maybe chat bubbles that could be resizable, and the ability to copy/paste layers. I'm sure we'll see more features in a future update, but for now it's a nice solid app.
