This is a really excellent iPad VNC application. Super design, intuitive UI, and good performance. And most importantly, great tech support. Had a tiny issue getting my google credentials set up properly; was my fault, but the support people quickly resolved what I was doing wrong and I'm on the air now...

This is a great program that meets my need of using an iPad to remotely access a Mac that sits behind a corporate firewall. Many remote access programs I looked at were great if the host and client were on the same LAN, or the host was behind a simple home firewall you had control of or supported specific features and you had a fixed address to access it on but most failed to get through a corporate firewall to access a work computer. This program seems fast and efficient; its easy an nice to use; and it works great. On setup the only glitch I ran into was that you have to enable remote login to use SSH (and the documentation only mentions setting up screen sharing). When using it the only thing I noticed is that you have to be logged in (running the iTeleport Connect application) to be able to use the auto remote access. I'm told they are working on making that program a daemon or service so it runs whenever the host is on (then you would not loose access on a reboot and not have to be logged in). So iTeleport was the least expensive and best working solution for my purposes. I look forward to future versions that hopefully include things like the daemon, and file transfer capabilities.

At best case this App does not work and/or the company has no customer support that understands how to make it work. At worse case, the company is simply a scam to collect the $25 and pocket the money knowing there is no recourse for the customer to get their money back. BEFORE buying the App, the company was contacted to ascertain that iTeleport would work with a particular environment involving port forwarding. They assured that it would. The App was purchased. What was represented by the company did not work. Contacts were made with customer support which apparently had no knowledge of the workings of the App. Then customer support simply stopped responding altogether. This is a high priced App purporting to have capabilities that are technically somewhat complex. One would think the company would have given an honest answer when asked before the purchase about a specific situation OR would have directed the queries to a technical support person who could have helped make the App work. But, no such luck. Had the App worked as promised it would have rated five stars and been well worth the money. As it stands, I wish there was something less than a one star rating to be given.

First of all, this is a great app. But, I paid $24.99 for this iPad version and the next day, they made the iPhone version universal. If I want to use this on my iPhone now, I would have to pay another $24.99. What? That is no way to keep customers happy. Just make this universal as well! If that changes, 5 stars.

It can not access your computer if the computer is turned off. In other words, unless your computer is always on, you can't access your files remotely. This should be stated before you spend $25.

Why is this still in the App Store? I re-bought this app for my iPad because I'd already purchased iTeleport for iPad. Turns out I had bought the Universal build which I assumed this was too. Two apps with identical icons "for iPad" that are both priced $24.99. What the hell? Now I own both.

I purchased this sometimes ago, the iPhone version has been updated to include universal binary - which mean you get ipad also along with iphone version. The iPad version remains underdeveloped (it's 4.0.3 now and the iphone/ipad 4.0.4) and do not support iphone. If I want to use it in iphone, I need to pay and purchase the universal binary format... What a crazy business decision and a silly one I must say!. Those who rated this version 5 star is obviously paid to do so...

I love the ease of connecting to my Vista at work. I use the manual connection since I connect through the IPAD VPN. Once connected, using Iteleport is just as easy. I needed a little help getting setup, but their instructions and follow-up support could not be better. They are going to be very successful.

They want to charge you again for the update to universal? I even emailed them before I bought this app and they said the update to universal would be free. When I emailed them back after they came out with it they said sorry, we can't help you!

There are so many apps that cost nothing and many are worth just that much. In this case, you truly get what you pay for - maybe a lot more. I was searching for an iPad replacement for gotomypc. I tried a couple of the lesser expencise offerings, then bit the bullet and downloaded iTeleport. It installed easily and works flawlessly. I have two wide screens on my office desktop and I can see both on my iPad. All functions work. This software has finally solved my problems with remote computing.
