NOTE FOR IPHONE / iPOD TOUCH USERS: When you purchase Air Harp, you get both the iPhone version, which is a simple 8-stringed instrument, PLUS the iPad version with all of the features including 15 strings and music sheets. To see the iPad version, you must sync your purchase to iTunes and to your iPad! Thank you for buying Air Harp!
SOUND TIP / iPAD2 USERS: If you do not hear sound on your Air Harp, try going into your iPads Settings panel and find the sound control. Then try muting then unmuting the sound. Toggling in and out of mute mode should fix the problem. This is an issue a number of apps have been having on the iPad 2 - there should be a fix for this by the next iPad software update. The Air Harp app does an excellent job reproducing the sound of a harp. The virtual harp has 15 strings representing two octaves of notes in G Major. You can tap the strings to create your own tune, or use sheet music to play a well-known song. The app includes several pieces of sheet music, and you can buy additional collections for 99-cents each.
Air Harp is enjoyable and relaxing for the music-oriented adult. Unlike other music apps which require you to tap falling dots on a screen, the app uses real notes and strings which makes it an excellent learning tool for children.

Of all the apps on my iPad -- the fancy games, the productivity stuff, etc. -- Air Harp is the one app people keep going back to every chance they get. In the week or so I've had it, this app has literally gotten hours of use, The update adding the in-app store has been great, too. Looking forward to more sheet music packs being added!

The harp has a very realistic sound. The developer responded to a request to provide tapping the strings which has made the instrument much more playable. Now I would like to see some way to switch between tapping and strumming that can be done easily in the middle of a song.

Just downloaded this highly praised app. I don't get the high praise unless I am really missing something. The basic download comes with some simple songs, you have to pay door additional one at 99 cents for 5 -- which is way too high for what you get. The sheet music doesn't scroll, these are all very short renditions of mostly children's songs and we're not talking Miley Cyrus's "The Climb" we are talking "On Top of Spaghetti". It's kind of like charging people to play "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" -- oh, wait it is exactly like that. While the app looks elegant and plays beautifully, it is highly deficient. Can it record my composition, save it, allow me to change it, and play it back? No. Can it play it's own sheet music so you can hear what the music is supposed to sound like first? Not that I could ascertain, "Played for hours," one reviewer wrote. More like played door 45 seconds, paid 99 cents for 5 songs and played for 45 seconds more. Wow! I don't like to diss the work of app artists, but this app was not worth the money, not even close.

May I suggest a mode that is even louder still and maybe fantasy like that may experiment with different sound effects and push the vibrating nature of the ipads speakers or home theatre headphones or the like. I really like how well your multitouch works,excellent job!

There are some Apps in the store that just have that high-quality look. This is amazing for it's detail and elegance. ANd I am just talking about the way it looks. It also sounds amazing! I had trouble with this app when I first bought it. I couldn't keep it open long enough to even get a sample of the sound. I contacted the developers and they did everything they could to improve the experience. It was worth the wait

No soy muy exigente con los apps pero esta aplicaron es terrible solo te dan como 8 canciones, vale el doble q cualquier otro app y lo peor de todo es la sensibilidad, se necesita tener los dedos como una aguja para poder tocar bien... No pierdan su dinero hay aplicaciones mejor con piano y con mas canciones y menos precio.

Let me explain. Last update they provided was a complete flop. Swipe feature didn't work. Instead of letting buyers review their mistake fairly and honestly they pulled the app intentionally from the iTunes stores users couldn't provide feedback. That my friends is a perfect example of what's wrong with business in the iTunes store. Here is the 1 star review you've rightfully earned.

If you don't have the iPad do you know what this app can do? VIRTUALLY NOTHING! you can strum around 9 strings, but it costs $2!

Disappointed with the most recent update. Combining tap and strum functions removes the feeling of playing a real instrument and makes the app much less satisfying to play. Please rectify.
