I have every gameloft HD title minus asphalt, since launch. Though deleting and reinstalling my to fav fps ipad games, NOVA, and Modern HD, has smoothed out many of the frame rate and control issues, they still need a bit of tweaking cause the iPhone versions still play better control wise, on the iPad than the HD version. Luckily I never purchased the iPhone version of this game, so I won't be able to tell you if the controls where better on the iphone, so based on the two hr I put in so far for this game, Im more than satisfied with the price, and the playability of it. Though this is a 3ps, the sheer intensity of the fire fights, the screaming of orders, mortar fire and rpg's flying everywhere, is more immersive than any other combat/fps game has ever offered in the store. The controls are tight, but have a supper learning curve, so take a few min an you should be ready to go out and save the free world. I know for a lot of you gmlf fans, as myself, have been some what let down by this horrible "HD' tactic (spit a couple wads of rainbow taffy on a product that has been around for ever and call it the holly Grail) not to add all the bugs and frame rate issues, more less the sluggish and unresponsive controls and the like, for a higher price port that functions less than the original. But back to this game unlike most gameloft games where they are stingy on the enemy AI(the amount of baddies trying to take you out on screen at once) the japanese and Germans come out in droves so even on easy you get bang right off the bat, the balance is, on easy the AI isn't as accurate etc etc, and by choosing a more difficult mode, their shots are more accurate etc,etc. Highly rec this to any one who just got theirs, or is getting the 3G this Friday, if you get one HD title that you already have on your iPhone make it this one, I mean the battles get cagy real fast, you often have to use flanking tactics to conquer a strong hold of German s, no let me correct myself "Nazi's" German solders just like the beautiful women are great loving ppl. But yea any way great game , best gameloft HD title with the exception of let's golf, which looks and plays like a dream, but I don't like golf, and you can't play your own music, as is the case with gamelft, and I haven't tried asphalt but real racing is the only racing game that displays near a VR experience,what the heck am I blabbing about, I always do this, game is easy one of the best games in the store for the pad, if you like combat games you can't go wrong , like I said great grfx controls, and overall fluidity of what a complete and competent game feels like...so far.

Game great for IPAD, i love it. Just make sure you restart your IPAD after installing to avoid hanging issue, after that runs smoothly.

Awesome graphics no slow downs. Almost console quality.p, although I am not too happy about twice for this, since I have the iPhone version already and had to pay for this iPad version as well. For the guy that is complaining about the crashes, restart your iPad. This should be the practice always when doing updates or installs of apps from the iTunes store. iPad only have 256mb of ram, and add to that sometimes it has trouble freeing up memory.

Attention, people who are considering buying an FPS for the iPad, look no further! I have tried just about every single FPS game out there for the iPad. This game, in my opinion, is the best one out there. I have played NOVA, Modern Combat, and Call of Duty: Zombies. None of them are as good as this game. BIA has a lot more action than the other games. You really feel like you are in the middle of a war. Unlike NOVA and Modern Combat, BIA has a whole squad with you most of time to help give that sense of a battle. I have only notice a few glitches in the game such as freezing (only happened twice). I don't think any FPS fan will be disappointed with this game. Hope this helps anyone who is considering buying this game.

Unplayable. This version is freezing for 2-5 seconds once every 30 seconds or so. I'll change my review to 5 stars once they fix this bug. I'm on the iPad 3G 64GB.

Ok, three words..SUPER FUN GAME!!! Not only is it hands down the best FPS for the iPad beating out NOVA and Call Of Duty Zombies but it has Console like graphics. It's fun from the minute you get into the game! You are not fighting alone either but you got help! In multiplayer it is SERIOUSLY fun having several ppl on your team backing you up. The graphics are great on the iPad screen big time! Sound is excellent, you feel like you are in the middle of a war! Totally immersed in it. This is without a doubt Gameloft's best iPad game and one of the best iPad games I've played so far. Worth every freakin cent! Don't heistate even for a second, Buy this game and rock your iPad!!!

This is a great game I don't understand why people are having problems with crashing the game is way more intense than modern combat but graphics rant as good looks fake but I love the game also instead of being solo all the time like modern combat you are in a team and it gives you more of that war feel, Tunis is the first war game I played based on the world war.

EXTREMELY laggy... Gets me killed all the time in game... Freezes, etc... Also, I get shot at when I'm behind a rock or barrier... And die. WTF I should be protected if I'm not insight of enemy. Not worth 7.99$ maybe 5.99 or 4.99... What happened to you gameloft? You rushed these iPad games just to get $$$... Take time and have your game testers actually know what lag is.

What a great game, graphics are the best yet for the iPad. Game play is fun with a real story. Controls need a little practice but it don't take long to figure it out. Jumps right into the action. What more can I say, best first person shooter for the iPad. Thanks u

This game has a lot of potential but there are bugs. Almost as if this is a beta or pre release. It seems like the stalling on levels are from the game saving your checkpoint. It freezes every now and then but overall, this is mobile call of duty for 8 bucks. The online play is ok and will get better I'm sure but it has a bit of connection problems and sometimes players kind of ghost. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game considering were on a mobile device, but gameloft needs to release updates and bug fixes at a steady rate, otherwise it would be hard for me to continue purchasing their games knowing that the first version is always buggy. UPDATE: Seems to be much better after a proper restart of the iPad. I don't normally need to do this with any of the games on my iPhone, but I thought I'd give it a try.

If you're like me and you just bought a new iPad 3G so you could play online games you'll have to skip this one. After shelling out an extra buck for the iPad version thinking oh well I don't care since this is going to have amazing online then loading it up and getting a message saying no Internet connection please connect to wi-fit play online. Only one problem my wi-fi is satellite and laggy that's why I paid so much more money for an iPad with 3G to enjoy every possible feature I could so please game loft don't leave all your sucky Internet owning friends suffer add 3G support for online multiplayer.
