	This is truly great software, easily the best Bible software I've used (more usable than BibleWorks, even!) Truly an iPad app, too, with a great, newly thought out UI. The Hebrew/Greek support is especially good with syncing split windows and popup translations on touch. Thanks; keep up the great work!

	I've been an enthusiastic user of Olive Tree products on the iPhone for a couple of years and the new iPad application redefines portable Bible software and substantiates the iPad as an important ministry tool. The iPad app is well thought out and visually attractive. It's a superb tool for study, message preparation, and even casual reading - I wouldn't want to do without it. The menus are intuitive, requiring virtually no learning curve, and the interface is very customizable. Shopping on the Olive Tree website is addictive (and expensive!), and the range of available titles is impressive. I recommend using the Olive Tree website to make purchases beyond the reader and using the application's sync feature to download to the iPhone/iPad. Very highly recommended! (Note to themacuser123's review of 8/13/08: I'm not sure what you mean by your comments about not being able to transfer existing titles; I have done so easily by synchronizing my account with my new devices. Perhaps that is an older version of the Reader to which you are referring.)

	I purchased and downloaded the esv study bible and since the update to 4.0 the app isn't working at all. Please fix this! Great app until it stopped working though!

	I have a few suggestions, although I do love this app it's the one I use the most. It'd be great to have a customizable day/night mode, and maybe have a button for it in the top of the screen like how there is a lock rotation button on the bottom. The user could set up a day and night color profile in the options or there could be preset ones, and then with the push of a button everything could switch back and forth. It'd be amazing for me because I use my BibleReader app in both bright lights and at night. Also it'd be cool to have a scroll bar on the side so that you could see where you are in the chapter you're in. Like at the beginning of every chapter it could go back to the top. And finally it'd be nice to have a "compare" option for verses between translations. You could put an extra button into the menu that pops up when a verse number is pressed that opens a pop up window with the current passage in another version. I know it's a lot of suggestions but I love this app and want it to be as best as possible. Thanks for the amazing work guys!

	BibleReader makes a mobile device even better! Olive Tree puts the text of your favorite bible literally at your fingertips. They have a wide library of not just bibles, but other books, commentaries and devotionals that you can download to your mobile device, some of them free! Their support staff are friendly and responsive. I look forward to reading more books with BibleReader. I have an iPod Touch 32G with iOS4 and their latest version 4.12.4 works well on it. I am a very happy camper! :D

	Requests for olive bible reader: 1) Ability to move fwd or back chapters while reading. Its difficult to skip from chapter to chapter. It's time consuming to always exit the reading window; then the user must reselect the book and then the chapter and then the verse. 2) Create folders for bookmarked/highlited verses 3) Reverse interlinear for the Gk NA27. Tap a Gk word and the English def. will pop up.

	This is the nicest Bible reader I've tried so far. Very clean, neat interface... actually a pleasure to read. I would like to see them improve the smoothness of their scrolling, however. When scrolling up or down through a Bible passage, it lags quite often, creating an annoying "stuttering" effect as opposed to the incredibly smooth scrolling of Apple's apps. And this lag is definitely not caused by my device... I'm running this on the brand new 32GB iPhone 4. Olive Tree is the only app that has this problem. And since "scrolling" is about 95% of what you spend your time doing while reading a Bible app, this is a pretty key issue that needs to be corrected. Other than that, great app. Highly recommended!

	There is a bug in the 'notes' in my NASB Bible. When I press the 'i' (info button) to review my notes that I typed, the entire page of notes is pushed up completely and I can only read the last few lines of my notes. I try to scroll it down but it is stuck.

	Tonight I was working with a passage. On the top pane of the split screen I had the NRSV version, on the bottom, a version in Greek. I wanted to see what the Greek dictionary said about a word. I changed to the NASB with Strongs. Touched the word. Got the definition from the Greek dictionary, saw that its root was unknown to me. Click the root and was shown its meaning. Went back to the NRSV, but this time put the Darby version in the split. Later I decided it would be interesting to see what the Message had done with the passage. From the app, purchased the translation, downloaded it, and installed it. All this on the iPhone. The iPad version is even better, uses the real estate really well (as you can see from the screen shots). I have a bunch of Bible study books and dictionaries, and I hardly use them anymore.

	I have been very happy with the bible reader. I've been using it for several years and I've invested a fair amount of money in bibles and commentaries. Recently it seems like every second or third update renders the program non-functional. The latest update continues the trend, which is starting to get a little annoying. Other than that, I appreciate the interface options, the functionality, and the available content.

	I downloaded this to get the NAB and RSV-CE as seemingly advertised above. Can't find them in the in app store. Where are they? If they were available, I would give this five stars. If they're not, then I object to the false advertising in the description.

	I have been using Olive Tree's Bible Reader for about 2 years now. It's a wonderful app that is constantly updating, adding new features, etc. The ability to perform word searches, phrase searches or even complex searches is great. There are also a ton of different translations or commentaries available. Split screen reading is awesome too. The best thing, though, is that it's not web-based, which means you can read your Bible anywhere, anytime. I love having my Bible in my pocket. You can't beat this in a $0.99 app. I mean really, how anyone could give this less than 3 stars is a mystery to me. It's nearly FREE people.

	Decided to download "PocketBible" by Laridian (free). They have the NAB and thousands of more resources. NAB was only $14.99, works great, no hassles. If Olive Tree ever gets their act together maybe I'll try it again. Now to attempt a refund from iTunes.
