Features
• Set Screen Brightness right in the app. If youre using a low screen brightness (to save battery, youre inside, etc) you might be over brightening your images! Never make this mistake again by setting your screen brightness within Auto Adjust (Requires iOS 5.0)
• Photo Size. Some photo apps like to cheat you and shrink your photos. Auto Adjust shows you your photo size so you know theyre still 3, 5, 8, or even 12MP! They stay their original size!
• Manual Tweaking. Some apps just have a Magic Wand. Auto Adjust actually shows you how it adjusts your photos and lets you tweak it from there, or do it all manually.

	Background: The list price of this app has gone up and down. It was free when I got it, but it's been as high as $2. It seems the developer had second thoughts about the copies he had given away to people like me, because he released an "update" that crippled the app by disabling file saving. Restoring this essential function became a $1 "in-app purchase." Now, it's bad form to take back a gift. But it's borderline criminal to do this to people who paid. For example, imagine you brought your car to a mechanic for free scheduled maintenance, but instead of fixing things, the mechanic removed the steering wheel and demanded money to replace it. The prices may be lower but that's exactly what's happening here. This was a pretty nice app, and if Mr. Macirowski had been upfront with the pricing model, I probably would have bought it. But how can anyone trust this guy now? If I pay a dollar today, who's to say he won't issue an update in a week that will disable it again — until I pay another $5? What I've learned from this experience is that as customers of iPhone apps, we're really at the mercy of the developers. I will assume this scam wasn't foreseen by Apple, and therefore isn't specifically banned in the developer agreement. Which means we have no arbiter to appeal to. All we have is trust. Therefore, I have decided that once a developer has shown a willingness to defraud his customers, I'm not willing to invest in anything he does. Everyone's free to make their own decisions, but personally, I follow the principle of "fool me twice, shame on me." Along with fake reviews, this is a sleazy developer practice that Apple seriously needs to crack down on.

	I promised to change to review if the developer fixed his latest app update which implemented a "bait and switch" tactic in which users had to pay additional $$ in order to use the app. Well, the developer took down the app, changed his website, and reopened shop. The bug is fixed and Auto Adjust is now available for .99 to new users and free for those who already purchased it (like it should be). Finally, what you see is what you get. Thanks for listening to your users and for delivery a quality product with quality service! As for the app: Auto Adjust is a great exposure app that corrects dark and underexposed photos. It works quickly and efficiently, with a clean user interface. Simply load your photo from your library and bam! The app fixes it with little noise or overblown processing. For the price, you can't buy a better app. When I am on the go and need a quick exposure fix, I run my photos through Auto Adjust and then load them up onto Flickr. 1, 2, 3...easy!

	However it works its magic, Auto Adjust does a great job of enhancing dark images and also does a decent job of adding punch and contrast to a flat, washed out image. Auto Adjust produces some of the best results I’ve seen in helping dark iPhone images. It holds the black areas while adding lightness and detail to 3/4 tones and mids. After processing, there’s nice saturation and my colors hold up well. For darker images, it helps produce a more balanced image. The Intensity adjustment allows you to achieve a balance between creating a good light fill and blowing out your images. A toggle switch allows you to quickly and easily switch between enhanced an unenhanced views — a great feature that saves time and frustration.This is a good app for iPhoneographers looking to rescue an image. It’s also great for casual iPhone photography for quickly and easily massaging a snapshot before you email, upload or MMS.Nothing can completely fix a badly under- or over-exposed pic. As with all flash enhancers, don’t expect miracles, but I was nicely surprised with the overall results I got. The developer responded very quickly to an issue I had raised. The combination of adjustability, results and a responsive developer, I highly recommend this app.=M=

	It saves photos to your camera roll and it saves in full resolution!! The control levels for black, white, and saturation are great. Use this & iFlashready app to get correct exposure and save in full res with both of these apps.

	This is a fairly simple app that I've found useful on occasions when I've wanted to quickly fix up an image on the iphone. The only pitfall is that what looks ideal on the iphone (in my case, a 3G, which I have not upgraded to iOS 4) generally looks bright and oversaturated when viewed later on a Mac or a PC. So it pays to err on the side of dull & low contrast. My review is actually for Auto Adjust v2.6, because v3.0 is not back compatible to iphone OS 3. iTunes won't even transfer the "iOS4 optimized" version to my phone.

	The description says supports IOS 3.2. Unless I'm missing something, the last OS 3 version was 3.1.3. Consequently this does not run on a 3G with IOS3. IOS4 is like poison to 3G's, so until Apple can make a version 4 that can run on a 3G, please bring back support for ios3. Maybe it is listed wrong within the app and not running because there is no version 3.2

	I like it a lot; I fixed a photo that had too little details in the shadows. I saved it, and then did some more fiddling for fun. I couldn't get it to give up on my new settings which I wanted to discard. Another bug that I think is in IOS 4 is that after I dropped it in my Photography folder, it vanished. I already have a dozen apps in that folder and I can't seem to get the thirteenth to show up; I can only get this new app with the Multitasking crawl that is not organized at all. So my conclusion? Get it; it does the job very well.

	There are any number of image processors that can apply predefined filters to make your photos look like junk (retro, I guess) or paste digital decals all over your photos. That is quaint and perhaps good for some. I wanted something to help me with gamma and color correction during those few times when I don't have time to edit the photo on the desktop/laptop. Admittedly, there aren't a lot of options with the photos iOS 4 devices take. You can't get the raw image, you can't set exposure or ISO, and it comes pre-compressed as a heavily down-sampled JPEG. But this app does the best it can with what it has to work with. If this app had crop and rotate (with grid lines) I'd be able to get rid of a few other apps.

	There are so many apps that do auto balancing! They don't give you the manual adjustment that this does. The layout is similar to what I use in both Final Cut and Photoshop for color correcting! Great app! Note to the dev: Get the words white balance in the description or somewhere. I've been searching for an easy to use app that fixes the white balance on my photos (on the go) similar to Photoshop's levels tool. This is the only one I have found that comes close. Putting those key words in there might have showed me this app months ago and saved me the frustration of less able apps.

	How can anyone give this app more than one star? The auto correct barely does anything if the photo is dark, and it does nothing at all if the photo is too light (I tried it on multiple photos); and the app does nothing else. The autocorrect alone on MicroSoft Image Editor is soooo much better, plus Image Editor rotates and crops and it's FREE with Windows. This app should certainly be free because it can't do squat and is a total ripoff.
