Alright, I recently started playing magic and I knew I had to get an app for it. After looking around a bit, I came across this one. The stars are incredibly high and many suggested it. But when I saw the price, I thought "this had better be a freaking amazing app!" But it turns out it is most certainly not The first problem: the price. This app is way too simple to be $5! Really! It is insanely priced! It might be worth $2 at most. Second, the interface. Everyone gies on and on about how great it is, but it is horrible. The way to adjust the life is very cumbersome. Your finger gets in the way all the time. Third: Lag. I could not believe an app like this has so much lag! Most of the time when you try to change the life value, it just doesn't work. It makes you look very foolish, expecially because you paid $5 for this. Fourth: lack of customizing. Guess the limit of people you can have? Two. No more and no less. ALL counters need to be able to add more players. Fifth: the rest. Horrible icon, boring interface, hard to control... all of it leads up to one thing. The FREE apps are better then this piece of junk. I would honestly rather spend $5 on an epic meal at a fast food resturaunt. Here are my final suggestions. Either fix EVERY SINGLE THING I listed, and more, or make this app a dollar. Until then, spend your money elsewhere. --Jon

I have tried lots of different life counter apps available in the app store (both paid, and free), and this one is by far the best. It is easy to use and great for being able to reference back to with the history when you have a dispute on life counts. My only complaint is that it does only support two players but for FNM or casual 1v1 there is nothing that compares. Easily worth the five dollars if you play on a regular basis.

Worth the money after updateWith this latest update, the app is definitely worth the $5 price tag. You can tell that the programmer is very competant and is concerned with both quality and fuctionality. I still have a few suggestions for future updates. 1) Make the delay between changing the life counter and having it be added to the history customizable. In my opinion, its way too fast and causes unnecessary undo.2) Make a mana counter tab to keep track of complicated plays or to just keep your opponent honest. 3) Make a button on the dice tab that will randomize the dice. I dont want to have to hand my opponent my phone and have him shake it. 4) Where is the D20? 5) Have a rules tab which will allow you to search the latest oracle text of a card and any rulings associated with it. Crystalkeep maintains such a file that you could import.6) I like the splashscreen picture but the big white box covering a large portion of it needs to go. All in all, great app.

KIWIDude i have been playing magic for bout 6 years now and i think its great to have a direct link to gatherer. Nut in my opinon, the best thing bout this app is that the tails on the coin is a kiwi. Good job

Worth $5...sadly.I didnt think this was worth $5 but i bought it because I needed it. I was wrong, especially after the update, if you play any card game (I use it for Yu-Gi-Oh) Id recommend this over all the competition, and ive tried all the competition

WowBy far the best app of its kind, I tried all of them and this is the best looking/most features. The d20 needs better definition, however, as sometimes you cant tell what number is up. Other than that, stellar job!!!

Best of its kind.Hate to say it, but this is easily worth the $5. I honestly cant think of anything to request or comment on. I guess the load screen is kinda ugly, but its only there for a second. I was interested in making an app like this so I bought several of the options. Dont waste your time, I wouldnt be ashamed to pull this out in a tournament.Just thought of a request. Can you make the app automatically stop the iphone from sleeping? that would be helpful for gameplay. Thanks,Tony

GoodI really like this app so far. One thing I would want to change would be to add a note section for the current game to write whats in the persons hand, important cards, etc. With that change I can easily give this app 5 stars
