After extensive excavation of the device, we are still uncertain of its initial purpose and construction. Dig team has stated that although it looks to be Aztec in construction, the device pre-dates ancient American civilizations by several thousand years at least. It remains to be determined who or what could have built such a device.
One thing the team is certain of is that radiation readings in the lower levels are off the charts. Axis commanders, and their occult scientists are mounting an offensive to infiltrate and capture the device. They must be stopped at all costs. POTENTIAL GLOBAL CATASTROPHE. In “The Squadron” you control an elite World War II defensive force. Use your finger to trace the routes of your airplanes as they destroy enemy raiders on the ground! Prevent the axis fighters from invading “The Device” or the world will come to a mysterious end! Keep as many planes as you can in the air and watch out for the anti-aircraft guns on the ground!

A very fun flight control-esque high scoring game. The pacing is perfect, and it ramps up difficulty nicely without getting frustrating. The game over effect from the doomsday device is pretty fun too. :)

This is a fun game for the iPad. The fast forward was nice at the beginning while the action ramps up. It's kinda like Flight Control but I get to blow stuff up. I got pwned by the Aztec guy in the end.

This is a nice-looking game, one of those you can't keep people's fingers off of. It has some great features, like multiple planes, nukes, fast speed (took me a while to find) and AA guns. In an update I'd like to see multi-touch, or multi-player. Also, there needs to be some way to shoot the AA guns or bomb them or something. Leaderboards? The open-ended flight plans means you are chasing moving targets, not fixed runways or harbors like other line games. It creates a different kind of stress. I like flight plan and harbormaster, but this better fun.

This game is one of those types where you intend to just start it up for a quick minute of fun and then you end up sitting there for the next half hour just trying to beat your previous score. Its kinda like Flight Control but for men, haha, you tap and drag flight/attack paths for the planes that cross over the nazis or whoever they are and keep them from getting into the skull thing in the middle. Every now and then you get a nuclear bomb to clear the screen, that part is a lot of fun. I would maybe like a different graphic on the actual explosion. Other maps would also be fun as updates.

This game is tons of fun. I already have a score of 4567 can anyone beat that? I have been playing it a lot more than I thought I would, its very addicting. I would love to see leaderboards, also I wish the bomber could take out the anti air guns (or maybe a special unit that can take them out or something?)

I was really impressed with how easy it was to pick this up and start playing; but don't let that fool you, there is plenty of re-playability. It actually reminds me of an old school stand up arcade game, where the point of the game is the gameplay. It's a good thing I'm not dropping quarters into this one. The controls are really simple, just drag a path and the planes follow them. Excellent graphics and design, nice tight story.

This game is fun to play. Its not hard like others have said, if you have played Flight Control or Harbor Master you should immediately get the gameplay. This game is just like those games in that you draw where you want your planes to go, and have to avoid crashing into each other. However in this game, you also get to shoot baddies. It started out pretty easy, but once I had a bunch of planes in the air, and lots of baddies coming in, it got to be quit a challenge! They should have leaderboards however, I want to share my high score with my friends!

Then the anti aircraft guns will shoot your planes down and there is no way to attack them back. Stupid way to make a game. Save your money , thanksnapple for your sneaky terms of agreement I never read and always click. REFUND would be appropriate here

Like others said, this game is pretty simple. Draw paths for your planes, shoot enemies which come faster and faster, and use a bomb if needed. Lack of more levels or leaderboards makes this fun for a short amount of time. Good news though: Looks pretty and as of this writing is just ninety nine cents.

Very simple game. Use your plane to shoot the bug spec convoys. Shoot them before they reach the center. Predictably bad guys come faster and and you get more planes. When bad guys are coming from 5 directions just have your planes fly in a circle around the center area. Then you die. No additional levels, no control over your type of planes, no better bombs, not much strategy. Gets boring after a handful of games. No where near the strategy and intensity of traffic controller. Two stars.

Fun, addicting, and very well-executed. Quite satisfying to launch strafing runs on Nazis. Just a few tips... The red button in the top right is a speed adjuster. It speeds up/slows down the game. Also, the game says keep as many planes in the air as you can. However, the sky can get very cluttered, and you can lose planes if they crash into each other. The AA guns seem threatening, but all they do is pick off the occasional plane. I lost more planes to crashes than to Kraut 88s. Otherwise have fun with this app.
