Knight Defense really is a game like you’ve never seen before. It’s a happy hybrid of a traditional defense game, chess, explosions and glow graphics that’s going to get you hooked from your very first game.
This is an intelligent app and it’s going to throw a lot of challenge your way. You need to keep your wits about you and develop some good strategies to fend off enemies who attack in waves in an attempt to capture your king. Don’t let them succeed!
Your pieces can be upgraded, up to seven times. Give them some more life if you need to, double tap to start special abilities, but keep your eye on what’s coming at you from the other end of the board.
Firing is done in patterns. When your shots hit an enemy, you’ll see and hear a satisfying explosion. Unfortunately, the same is true for your enemies, so gather up your courage, form a terrific strategy and let them know who rules the game.

	Randomly found this one.. Glad I downloaded it! A+ game. You can't go wrong with this one! An exciting twist on chess & tower defense w/ perks (each unit has there own special abilities.. I.e. Bishops heal your units in a certain radius... Etc...) Get it now! 5 stars! Update: Thanks for listening to everyones comments and updating the app accordingly... Background music works fine now. I appreciate and respect that in a developer. Especially one as talented as yourself! This game rocks!! I love it!! Old EDIT: noticed a slight problem. Upon loading the app, It shuts off any kind of music app you have running in the background. That could use some sorting out. Otherwise good!

	After spending some time with it, this game grew on me. At first, the stock sound effects were somewhat annoying, but the decent presentation and great concept for the gameplay (tower defense on a chess board) was fun to play. I would suggest that the dev work on finding someone to work on sound effects and menu design. The menus felt a bit too "loose" to me. Good job so far though, great concept for a game!

	This game is a unique blend of chess and tower defense. Gameplay is fun and original. I love the visual style. This is more strategic than most TD games since you can move your towers like they're chess pieces and attack in their same chess pattern. Really unique and fun for those that enjoy Tower Defense games.

	Well made. One of the most original tower defense games. The idea to make a game in this genre based on chess rules is brilliant. My only suggestion - graphical themes. It would be great to have an option to play with classic wooden chess, and a couple of others like metal, stone, glass etc.

	If you are looking for a good TD, play this. Its really good and strategic. A nice mix of TD with chess pieces.

	Although I play chess quite a bit I am just a casual beginner and the same goes with TD games. this game mixes them together with chess movements and attacks in a TD action strategy game. and the mix is a lot of fun, the visuals are very crisp and satisfying on my iPhone4 display. although I would enjoy more satisfying explosions with particles and what not. I find this game quite challenging as much so for me as geoDefense was and still is. So if you are a hard core chess player and never tried a TD game this would be a great place to start, or if you play TD games and want a fresh update the the tried formula give this a try.
