Own This World is a massively multiplayer location dependent game where the real world map has been split into millions of territories that you compete for with players that are also physically in the same area. Your rank in the world climbs as you claim territories. If you have the most you are crowned the ruler of the World.
Owning territories allows you to accumulate resources (gold, manpower, food & supplies) which in turn allows you to attack other users in your current territory.
Compete against the entire world or buy your own personal world for you and your friends.
Create or join an Alliance so you can your friends can take on the world together.

WHAT OUR USERS ARE SAYING:
This is an incredible idea and is one of the few apps Ive downloaded that changes how I go about my day to day routine. My wife loves to use it while were driving. She enjoys sending us on alternate (or scenic routes) just to take territories from people. This application has made hitting a red light or a wall of traffic a positive thing, and there arent many apps out there that can pull that off. Theres something about taking a territory from a friend that is simply exhilarating. The amount of backstabbing thats gone on in my office over the day has been hilarious and there are already talks of road trips just to build up scores.
I had a dream about this app last night. I dreamt that I walked all the way around the great wall of China, just to gain the territory.
This is a great and very original app. It makes me want to ride my bike down the street just to get a new territory!

FEATURES:
-Regional Leaderboards:
Having trouble taking over the entire world? Now you can narrow it down a bit with regional leaderboards. If your region isnt listed, please email support@bnid.ca and we will add it to the list.
-Alliances:
Now you can take on the world with your posse! Your nightly production of resources is shared amongst those in your alliance, so you can share your wealth or get a little help from your friends. Territories owned by alliances will be indicated by the alliance color as well. Watch your climb to world domination with the alliance leader board.
-In-game Messaging
Have you been dying to chat with some of the people youve been playing with? Now you can. Just add them to your friends list, and start chatting.
-No-Purchases World
You asked for it, weve given it to you. Dont like that people can blow money and stock up on resources. Then play in a purchase free world. Just select Earth - No Purchases in the world selection screen.
-Social Network Integration
Brag to your friends and followers about your status in OTW, do a little trash talking, or just tweet it with a local # to get more players in your area.

- Users location will be less accurate when playing on an iPod touch as it has no GPS to calculate the location, instead using other means provided by Apple.

	I play a lot of MMOs and although this application can use some polish, it has great potential and they are actively developing and responding to their players' suggestion. I give it 5 Stars for concept and effort. 8D Why rule a fake world when you can rule the real world!!!

	This app looks like fun if there were more players. There is no one around me so I have to recruite some of my friends . Also some more custom info would be welcome for players like a picture for our avatars. If you really want to make this fun let us use resources to build deffenses or even weapons. Maybe even attack from a few squares away. Facebook & myspace updates would be fun too. So people could see if they got attacked. Also that's advertising for the app. OTW also could use in game msgs. I know this could possibly cause threats from wierdos but if you had a way to block player msgs it would be fine. 4's for a fun concept and solid app. Let's get some more people on here.

	The game is already fun, even if the player base is small. However, as the base grows, so will the game. Also, it is important to note that the developers appear to be quite responsive. If you engage their forum (URL in app), then they seem responsive to constructive suggestions that are well thought out. While I currently rank the game 4-stars, its growth in player base and evolution in feature set are sure to make it a 5-star soon.

	I just got this app and I love the concept of it. It's like one of those strategy RPGs, but comes down to where you live and really has the potential to be a great app if the player base expands. I'd like to see an in-game messaging ability, and a more user-friendly way to look up players near you, but again it looks like it could be an outstanding game if the player base expands. 5 stars just to attract people!

	There are a lot of apps out there that don't get as much limelight as "angry birds." OTW is certainly one of those apps that manages to fly low on the radar. It's unfortunate - this game has a fantastic concept. The downside is that without a lot of folks catching on to it, there isn't a lot of action to it (at least in my area) Hopefully, the word will get out and the popularity will increase! More importantly, I hope the developers stick with this app and work to improve the interface as well as expand the features. If they do that, and the game gets better and better - users will get the word out and this app could get really good. All in all - this is worth a pick up, even it means you are the only one in your area claiming everything! "If you build it, they will come"

	I bought this for my ipod touch. And for the guy below saying it doesn't work with iPods. Well it does. Works for me because of my mobile wifi modem. It's addicting and the fact that it's a real time game is great. This game gets 5 for being original and having multiplayer  and also because it's just awesome I agree with others, more players would be cool. So do something to promote it But for now Im taking advantage of the small player amount . Basically you travel to take over territories. Very addicting, in always at war. Great game. Worth the 

I never thought I would actually want traffic to slow down on the freeway, or spend a longer amount of time at a red light, now I do, just so I can gain an extra troop to own the sector. The game is played by 'owning' territories. To own the territory you must actually be there. If no one else owns it you need to be in that territory for at least 30 seconds. If someone else already owns it, you can attack with resources you gain nightly. If the attack is successful, the territory is yours. This gsme will make you want to take a different driving route then normal just so you can land in someone elses territory, giving you a chance to take over their land. Totally worth the 2 Bucks. Come to Houston and bring your game. TxBs

	Still enjoying the game. Cool updates recently. Looking forward to what BNID has in store for us. The developers are quick to respond to questions and seem open to suggestions. It's nice that they've set up a world without purchases so you have the option to play in a world without other people buying resources.

	If you like to move about town taking over your location, then this is the app for you. One of the challenges is having to be in the physical location you want to take over. This is where commuting kicks in. You amass turf and the associated resources and use that to attack the players on your land. This game encourages you to go outside your usual sphere and experience the world while building your arsenal. I do have a piece of feedback: 1. Fix the Twitter integration. Also could you add Los Angeles and California to the ranking boards. I'd like to see how I rank on my home turf. (BTW the rankings seem glitchy unless it's the world ranking).
