SpeedBox was one of the very early Speedometer Apps for the iPhone. Take advantage of my experience and the refined algorithms that can get a much greater accuracy from the iPhone then a lot of other apps. I regularly update my application to make it even more accurate and usable.
Users have already used our application to verify the accuracy of their cars speedometer or they tried measuring the speed they achieved while skiing. Can you come up with more ideas? How about measuring the speed of the airplane you travel with?
USAGE NOTES
========================
The GPS strength indicator in the top left corner should display a green dot. You can tap this indicator to display the current GPS accuracy.
Please allow the application up to a minute to find enough satellites to work correctly.
If you get a message to enable GSP, please go to ”Settings > General > Location Services“ on your iPhone and check if the little switch is set to On for Speed Box as well as for Location Services in general.
ATTENTION iPod touch users! Unfortunately this app doesnt work very well on the iPod touch and the iPad WiFI (without 3G) since these devices are missing a GPS!

	I really like this app. Driving is my only income and it's important to my paycheck to keep a clean record. This app allows me to check my vehicle speedometer for errors. Would like an option to change the scale of the dials. I will never drive much over 70 MPH. I will never hit 180 MPH.

	This app requires GPS capability. However, WiFi-only iPads do not have the GPS reciever (check the help page for "location services"). Why does iTunes allow me to install this app on an iPad on which it will not work? Why does this app only report "poor GPS reception", and not "no GPS system found"? How can I get a refund for an app that I can't use?

Only place you can really use it is in a car, and I dont see what is so bad about looking at the speedometer...But the purpose of this application is fufilled very well. 	Simple. Elegent.Simple app that does exactly what it says it does. As accurate as your GPS signal. Currently "forgets" whether on km/h or mph, but developer website says that they are planning to fix this in future update.

	Fantastic SpeedometerI dont know why everyone else has been having issues, I think this is fantastic. I have a GPS and my cars speedometer. This actually updates quicker than my GPSs speedometer (obviously not faster than the cars), and is very accurate. The inaccuracy only comes from the fact that it takes about half a second to update.I like the option to change the look and feel of it, but in the new update, theres not option to turn off the alarm. If you dont want the speed warning, just set it high. Its defaultly set at 30 MPH, I believe, so if you forget to, then itll beep at you over 30 MPH.

	Getting Better all the timeWhen I first got this App I was disappointed, it loaded slow was wildly inaccurate and the graphics were ok. All I wanted was a simple app that I could hold in the window of a car, train, or airplane and get the gee whiz info. Works pretty good in the car. The speed read out can be a bit erratic with 10mph jumps for no apparent reason. I have tried in on the airplane with very little success. I am not sure wether putting the phone in airplane mode causes the app not to work, but I did get it to work once and only once (not in airplane mode) and got a 425mph read out which when compared to the aircrafts GPS was with in a 1-2 mph of what the aircraft GPS was reading. I like that it has added GPS info (Sig strength etc). Its nice to help see why its not working, still would like more info on the GPS however. The HUD feature is good, although LARGER Brighter numbers would be better in HUD or Mirror mode. A trip computer would be nice (e.g. Max Speed, Altitude, Average Speed, Odometer etc). The analog dials do nothing for me (just my opinion). But as I stated the app works pretty good and keeps improving. Fine tuning and stability will earn a five star.

Our phones have GPS but dont look to it as a savior of speed accuracy through our GPS system its secondary compaired to a real GPS Unit, you people expect the damn world sad

	Avid DriverThe speedometer in my current car reads lower than my actual speed. After researching this I have found out that many car manufacturers build speed error into the speedometer on purpose-not sure exactly why. After using this app for awhile I have found the speed to be right on. I base this on comparing it to my wifes car speedo which is known to be accurate and to the "your speed is" signs we have here in Texas. Also the mileage is perfect almost to the tenth on known distances. With the latest update you are now able to clear the cache of stored data, which in my book makes this app well worth the money.
