This is a fun game. The controls are okay, although not as responsive as some action RPG's. The story is pretty standard. Graphics are fun, and the inventory / skills management system is strong. But for such a sophisticated company like Gameloft, I just don't understand why they can't get the saving right. I'm playing this on a mobile phone for gosh sakes. You can only save when you reach certain milestones, yet because I'm playing it on a phone, I'm constantly getting interrupted. Why not just have it save exactly where you are. And when you restart it after taking a phone call, the game just picks up in the middle of the fight you were in. Skip the titles. Skip the menu. Just get me right back into the action. For a good example of how this can be done, see Meteor Blitz.

I've almost finished the game with a warrior and all I can say is this is my favorite iPhone game to date. It's a prefect lunch break game as it's not something you can play for only five minutes and put away. You need at least 10-15 minutes to play and that's a minimum. I have only one suggestion: a map feature would make this game amazing! The kind of map where only what you have seen is revealed, the rest is black. I don't know if this is possible, but that would put this game over the top! I love this game regardless and have gotten way more that $5 out of it so far and much more to come!

Man I hope the developers are listening. FIX THE SAVE SYSTEM!! There is no quicksave and you lose your progress when you get a phone call. This is a MOBIL GAME!! Make the save system more friendly. Please.

Great game... Alot of content for only .99 cents. For the price of a candy bar you can now buy decent mini-rpg. I say mini because it's just a little short to be a Diablo or TES clone. It does have quite a bit of playtime, three classes help here. The difficulty doesn't seem that big of a deal, as potions are so cheap that by level 20 you can purchase a whole battleship full of them. And the level restart thing is annoying but preventable with some minimal concentration and skill at mashing the potion button. Most importantly for this game is the graphical quality. It is simply amazing that such a tiny mobile device could project such visuals. The textures are clean and well shaded. Obviously the makers of this game knew what they were doing, and were talented pixel pushers. I would definately recommend this for anyone who likes RPGs and action games like diablo. It has some flaws, but they can be overlooked considered the low price of the game during the sale.

Dungeon hunter resembles a good game. It's not a terrible game. But it does have serious weaknesses that make you realize just what a great game Diablo--the game that clearly inspired it--is. Weaknesses: touch interface option is broken in town--the character often gets stuck. Enemies lack variety, so a dungeon becomes an endless slog through two dozen of basically the same creature. Switching between skills is a kind of tap-and-drag hell. Overall game tuning is wonky--very few treasures are worth even looking at, particularly in the early levels (at least for the Mage). The meager reward of two stat points per level feels like the kind of miserliness that Diablo never stooped to. Should you buy this game? Well, it's better than nothing. But not by much. And the frustration you sometimes encounter while playing may make you regret spending more than a dollar on the experience.

This is stupid- whenever you die and Not the end of level , you have to start at the beginibg of that level.Whoever design this game is total stupid and waste my time. At least I can start at check point or "retry" like the other game "nova" waste my time and a dollar Fix it or else

If you have the 3g model and not 3GS don't buy this! It runs so sluggish that it's unplayable! It's not my phone guaranteed it's just way to high res. and to graphics intense of a game fit the original 3G to handle.

They still didn't make it fun. All you do is fight and when your health goes down, use the revive potion. The fighting is terrible, not fun. Load times are like 40 seconds too One good thing about this game is the graphics and the monsters.

This sale is the best I wanted 4 out 5 of these games. The games are usually kind of pricey but I know you'll make quality games so I can see why but this is a steal thanks. [update] Wow, I paid $7 now it's $1. Oh well, you guys are lucky buying it now. Impressive game:  -armor change your characters appearance -graphics are equal to dungeon games on PSP -good animations and design -sound is great, weapons, monsters, music...listen to it with headphones!! -tons of items to sell and collect, never feel like I'm bored. -cool use of faeries in addition to traditional magic items. Down sides:  -control is a little loose with the virtual stick, the game auto-lock to help -the load time to launch the game is long, then again it's a big game so it's forgivable Over all, this game kicks butt. I'm very happy with it even though I paid full price and now it's cheaper

I bought this yesterday for $.99 and it did not dissappoint. This game is a great RPG with lots of action and customization. I'm not too far in it right now but there appears to be lots of different abilities to learn as you level up. The dungeons I've seen so far are varied and decent in length. You get quests from people in the town and then begin your adventure into various dungeons. There's also replayability due to having a choice of three classes. I'm playing a mage right now and I can't just rush into monsters. I use my "dummy" spell to distract enemies and then shoot them at a distance with my lightning bolt. Overall, this app is highly reccommended!
