Dear Customers, just some bug fixes and a small change to Assisted Panning this time.
Heres whats new:
- Fixed issues where pages at the max zoom-out were appearing off center.
- Fixed issue where the right comic wasnt being shown when the comic selector was bought up.
- The collection view now scrolls to the currently viewed comic at the top level too
- Fixed manga mode issues where the wrong side of landscape pages was being shown
- Fixed manga mode issues with assisted panning.
- Assisted panning now only moves 70 of the way across so there is some overlap between the previous view and the current one.
It would mean the world to us if you would update your reviews to reflect the improvements in this new version.

MINI VERSION: This version is for iPhone and iPod Touch only. The regular version works on the iPad too.
Your iPhone (this mini version wont run on the iPad) is the perfect device for reading comics, but reading comics and manga isnt like reading books. You need a specialist app that can:
- Organize your comics by series, dont look through hundreds to find the one you want.
- Show you large covers, theyll tell you more than a title.
- Make it easy to move between issues when reading, youll go through a few in a sitting.
- Reliably zoom in on content, not show you the same borders page after page.
- Be smart about what to show you when you rotate the device, many comics have a mixture of portrait and landscape pages.
- Load big images fast, you dont want to spend five seconds waiting for a page to load.
- Load your comics using USB, wifi or even from other applications that support file associations.
That app is Comic Zeal. It does everything on the list and much more. It was the first comic reader on the app store more than two years ago. Weve been listening to your feedback and improving on it ever since.

Tips:
- When zooming, hold the gesture for half a second. Comic Zeal will lock that zoom and position when you turn the page, its a great way to hide borders. Try zooming using your thumbs while holding the iPad in both hands.
- Have a look through the in-app settings. There you can change he background (try the magic one), adjust brightness, turn on manga mode and other useful things.
- You can turn pages by swiping or tapping the sides of the screen. The tap area is thin so that you can easily reach past it with your thumb for scrolling.
- You can group comics by pressing Edit, select more than one comic, press Move, then select the New Series ... option.
- You can import cbz/cbr/pdf/rar and zip comics directly into Comic Zeal. If you want to import a folder full of images just zip them up.
NOTE:
- This mini version wont run on the iPad, the other version of Comic Zeal will run on all iOS devices.
- USB file transfers, page locking and assisted panning are only available on iOS4.

Loading comics using USB
----------------------
1. Connect the iPhone to your computer.
2. iTunes should open automatically, but if it doesnt open iTunes.
3. In the left column, click on Devices > (your iPhone)
4. Click on the Apps tab.
5. Scroll down from the Sync Apps section to the File Sharing section.
6. Click on Comic Zeal.
7. Drop your comic files into the Comic Zeal 4 Documents section.
8. Open Comic Zeal on your iPhone and it will complete the import!
Comics take around 7 seconds each to import. Please keep in mind that whatever comics you add, iTunes will want to back up. So dont add tens or gigabytes at once or your next sync will take a while!

	If you are looking for a fast and reliable app to read your CBR and CBZ collection, your search is over. I've tried pretty much every comic reading app available on the platform and always come back to ComicZeal. Despite the small screen of the iPhone, CZ has become my preferred method for reading my comics even when a full screen computer is available to me. It's just so darned intuitive and slick, it makes comics a total joy to read no matter the screen size. The Sync application offered on the developers website shrinks the files down to an appropriate level prior to syncing, which saves tons of disk space and ensures that page turns are instantaneous. You can carry literally hundreds of comics in your pocket to call up at any time and still have plenty of space for your music, documents and other apps. Its nearest competitor charges three times as much as CZ and isn't even half as stable. CZ was amongst the first comic apps and still reigns supreme. This is hands down the best spent $4 I've ever made on any mobile app. I'm practically wetting myself at the prospect of seeing this app on the upcoming iPad. :)

	I've been using this app since November-08' and it's constantly improving! The creators continue to upgrade the app making new ways to make the user experience better. This is a keeper! Other iphone apps should take a page out of Bitolithic's book. The rotation-lock feature is a prime example of what every e-book reader should have!

	This app is awesome. I use it all the time on my ipod touch when I don't have internet for some of my games. Have read about 200+ comics on it so far. The lock orientation is nice, the interface is very clean. I was worried at first spending $3.99 on a app I couldn't test drive, but so far has been my best purchase. It catalogs comics nicely and syncing it is super easy. The ipod screen is small but it works great for this. I skipped reading any of the free comics they had, and just uploaded my own to the ipod. Best Comic app hands down. -automatic bookmarking -rotate orientation with lock -regular photo zoom and quick tap zoom -easy cataloging -easy swipe next page -downsizes comics for great viewing and space saving -great interface -seperates series for quickly going to where you left off Must Have App!!!!

	Don't be deterred. The wifi sync works fine; it's clunky but after checking their website for instructions I was up and running in minutes. The interface works well and everything is as it should be. I could do with a more sensitive page turn mechanic (had to REALLY slide to get it to move on) or a better, comic-y page turning animation, but that's just window dressing on an otherwise solid app.

	The orignal high ratings for this app came from being the only comic reader that you could sync on your own computer. Now, that been trashed with the latest update and you have to go through the publisher's site to update, its awkward, and takes hours. The stripped down reader is subpar compared to other reader apps for the iphone. Also, bitolithic seems to have shut down customer support on thier site, if that tells you just how bad this program has gone.

	When I first purchased this app, it offered both USB and WIFI support, but Apple has recently decided to force the authors to remove the USB support, for whatever reason. So now, instead of simply plugging in my iPod and syncing directly, and because my PC is connected to a network, I have to now buy a seperate wifi card or dongle to transfer comics (which, in itself, is a complicated mess). Thanks for gimping this app, Apple.

	Ok, that was a waste if $4. I don't have WiFi and now I can't sync over USB. Anyway to get a refund?? They neutered this once great app. If I could give it zero stars I would. Do NOT buy it unless you want to deal with the buggy WiFi transfers. Was working fine until the most descent update 3.2.2.
