Almost all the reviews admit that this app was worth the money they paid for it, so that should tell you something. I was able to make some fun animated bedtime stories for my lil' girls and I'm NO artist. There are cheaper competitors, but they don't have the power this app has. [EDIT: I took a full 3 stars from this app after the latest update because it rendered my ability to watch my movies painfully slow and also i can't swap frames anymore] [EDIT #2: It's been a while since the last update screwed everything up. This went from a 5-star to a 2-star app in 1 update.]

I really used to love this app but I really really really wish they would fix the zoom and pan multitouch gesture. Other applications like Brushes or Sketchbook or even Animation have a really nice flowing way of navigating the canvas. It's so frustrating to try to zoom in, take your fingers off the screen to initiate a pan, take your fingers off to zoom out a little, take your fingers off again to pan just a little more. Then you have to deal with the app trying to figure out whether you want to zoom or pan. So Frustrating. Just one gesture to navigate. Two fingers on the screen, when they move together, pan, when the distance between them increases or decreases, zoom. That's all I wish would change with this app otherwise, i'd give it 5 stars.

The newest update caused the playback to be painfully slow. It's ruining everything for me. The website isn't working either. The iPod doesn't know I have an account yet. Please fix it! I can't show people my flipbooks and I can make new ones. It used to be one of my favorite apps, but now it just sits there, awaiting a new update to fix it. I hope it changes.

I have the free version and love it. If this app was anywhere between $1- $5 i would buy it right away. $10 is too much.

Hi. I have been using FlipBook since it came out and it seems not to be able to play back fast enough to animate my movies. It just sort of goes through each frame but no where near fast enough. Maybe you can fix this for the next version?

PLEASE I BEG YOU!! Please make it easier to zoom in. I can never magnify it without having to undo the dots my fingers make first. I love flipbook but resort to a different animation app that can zoom perfectly but is hard to play it afterwards. You could add a few more tools like a soft brush. If Brushes and Flipbook combined I would cry. They are both awesome apps and if flipbook had an easier to magnify interface and the tools of Brushes, so many more people would be using it

I have to upload to flipbook.tv website then download the video from there to use or show and share. Let me pick a point in front of my finger to draw so o can see the cross hairs! Great app hard to save stuff outside the app.

You cant share your animations with anyone unless you have a flipbook tv account WHAT BS!!! What use is this if I can't send it to anyone and I'm forced to put it on there servers,why should I have payed all that money just so they can have it and I can't share it with anyone else unless they go to there stupid website? The whole idea of creating something is to be able to share with whom I want where I want when I want.I thought we lived in a free society!!!
