Description

Pixelogic is a fun and challenging puzzle game where you use logic to reveal a hidden picture made of colored cells. Like a mixture between sudoku and minesweeper, numeric hints are used to uncover a pixelated surprise. Dont choose too many incorrectly or its game over.
Pixelogic is also commonly referred to as Picross, Nonograms, and Paint by Numbers.
Features include:
• Over 1025 puzzles available in 5x5, 10x10, 15x15, and 20x20 sizes! 116+ puzzles built-in plus 925+ past daily puzzles!
• Unique zoom feature enlarges a portion of the board for easy tapping, while still displaying the rest. No attempting to hit tiny squares or awkward scrolling on big boards

This used to be a five star app. Most of the recent reviews have focused on the sound/ability to turn off the sound, etc. No one seems to address the fact that the graphics are now cheap looking! The game used to have crisp, sharp colors, but it now basically is in (slightly blurry) black and white. It makes it difficult to distinguish between rows and columns where all marks are completed from others. I used to enjoy playing this app very much, but the shoddy graphics make it so much less enjoyable. Please restore the game to its previous quality! In its current state it is not an app that I would recommend.

This game is by far the best Picross game available in the app store. The zooming functionality makes it easy to use. You get a new puzzle every day and can even make your own puzzles and have them featured as dailies. I love the 2.1 update with the new 20x20 puzzles. They are much more challenging and keep me thinking. Definitely worth the money. Don't know why someone says there are blurry graphics. They are very crisp.

The controls are the best I've seen and the puzzle of the day feature (where users like you can make puzzles for everyone to play) guarantees that I check the app everyday. You might even see my puzzles (my tag is Brandon JK) Get it if you like puzzles, or if you like sudoku but are tired of what feels like the same thing over and over. Just get it!

It's pretty frustrating that you can't turn the screen because the game has a magnifying glass feature so you can't view the whole puzzle at once while you're working on it. Wish I hadn't spent 3 bucks on this one....

The implementation is a good compromise for the small screen of an iPhone once you get used to it. The daily puzzles (along with many months' worth of prior dailies) makes sure that you won't run out of puzzles to do anytime soon. The recent introduction of 20x20 puzzles was most welcome but I would love to see a lot more of them eventually :) Since most puzzles are 15x15 or smaller they are not very hard, and almost all of them can be completed in a little over 5 minutes or less. Sheer volume of puzzles helps make up for this though. Recently added 20 x 20 daily puzzles were nice to see, but several of them have been unsolvable, which can be frustrating. It would be great if the game would check submissions to make sure they can be solved before publishing them.

It takes a few puzzles to get used to the screen, but once you do you realize that this is hands down the BEST way to do larger size picross. And to really make this app perfect, you can download a new puzzle every day.

It took me a few games to get used to the controls, and I still mess it up sometimes, but they work really well once you get the hang of them. I was so excited to see this, because this type of game is one of my favorite pencil/paper games. My only request would be an Undo feature. When I *do* mess up the scrolling, it usually results in three or four cells being accidentally marked or unmarked. An easy way to undo and redo would really help. Thanks for a great game!!
