And I love both the ability to choose the recording quality and the ability to email short recordings as text. Add the free desktop version that they are including and the excellent customer support, and you have a real winner here. Thank you for one of my favorite apps!!

One of my favorite apps. Great for sending myself a reminder note or for quick emails when it's simply not convenient to type one. The voice to text transcriptions are "scary accurate." This ia a very good app.

Ok what's with all the great reviews here? This program has yet to actually translate any message into a text correctly. I'm glad that I had the for site to email myself before I actually sent someone else an email or it would certainly have been embarrassing. I've even tried just 2 words " just 2 words" "Call Tom".....it emailed a text back that said "Hello Tom". Now.....I really want to know how...does the word "call" sound anything remotely like "Hello"? Here's a little tip, to all who's sending voice into text messages, "you may want to email yourself before you send it to someone else"

This would be a great app if you could record and use other apps at the same time. every time i switched over to notepad or pages, it paused recording.

The feature that sets this recorder apart from the others is its voice to text email which is nothing short of amazing. There is a 30-second limit on transcriptions (would be nice if it were a little longer) but even at that I've found this app has effectively eliminated most, if not all, of my email typing. I don't like typing on the iPhone so for me, the voice-to-text email feature is much more than just a welcome alternative, it's an indespensible function. Great for when in traffic and you need to fire off an email. Ps: Regarding a previous review below. I don't want to see the text before sending. I won't be able to do that in traffics. Please leave it as is.

I use this app a lot to send myself email notes. Make a contact for yourself called, 2Self: two touches to record and a few more to send 2Self....excellent work flow. Voice2text email is very good (accurate transcriptions). Contrary to a previous review, I don't want to edit text before sending, it defeats the purpose. Today I was driving but needed to send an urgent email - - was able to send it in 6 or 7 touches. Don't complicate the process, leave it as is. A "must have" for all iPhone owner. Feature request: add a dedicated note2self button, then it will be perfect and then 5-stars.

This is definitely the best recorder app! And with SpinVox I can dictate my emails! It really works great. Have tried the rest and most APPEAR to be the same, but in actuality the quality of Quickvoice's recordings are rich and clear, and much better at lower volume recordings. Their compression is top notch, which delivers great file sizes while maintaining full quality. The interface is also very simple to use and elegant, I would think Apple developed this app just by the look of it. Last but not least is the Quickvoice Desktop software that comes bundled. The software is extremely useful and offers many additional options plus syncing. You cannot beat this deal, both apps are first class! I give it 5 stars. Best version to date!

This app is my favorite app. I record my baby's laugh all the time and email it to family. It's super clear and sends without glitch. The voice to text email is great and for the most part, very accurate!

The quickvoice recorders (yes, recorders - - you get one for your iPhone and one for your computer!) are both great. Well refined and the voice to text email on the iPhone app is a great feature! I like the way the two programs work together (one click copies recordings to computer). Would like to see more apps with complementing computer software. Question about Voice Reminders...any ETA? Thx.

The recorder section is very good but what really makes this app shine is the voice to text email. The integration is fairly seamless and the transcriptions are 'scary' accurate. (awesome technology). There is a 30-second limit on voice-to-text emails (good for about 60-words) but even at that it has effectively eliminated all of my iphone email typing. So here's the $2.99 question. Would I buy it again? YES, without giving it a second thought. It's a fanatstic utility. Between QuickVoice and Dragon it covers all my voice-to-text needs. They are distinctly different so you need both. To previous reviewer: Use the MMS/SMS gateway to do voice2text "texting" - - it's easy. Google it.

As a singer & a student in college I find myself using this app everyday, it's indespensible. I love the transcriptioning (is that a word?) of my email messages because I HATE TYPING on the iPhone keyboard. The app is great for notes to self especially when on the move. Again, love the app. Update: I'm liking the bonus desktop QuickVoice too - - very pleasantly surprised. Great value. Thx.
