Can't change pages, doesn't load avatars or timestamps, no in-app ability to log in, read or write pm's, or use any forum features. Some forums don't work in app, you can't direct it to start in a subforum, some forums show up with blank titles, etc. If you could read multiple pages, it MIGHT be worth a buck: but you can't, I tried on multiple forums and threads, and even though it has an interface for going to a different page in the thread, it does NOT work. It just reloads the first page. Better off using Safari for free.

I used it on my VB boards and it's worst than using Safari. No "back" button, only a "Forum" button that takes you out of the site you're viewing. Still have to pinch to view. I see no point for this app at all. Glad some of you like it but it was a waste of money to me.

This app is not even close to what is described. First off it only works sometimes. Half of the time it will in fact convert the forum to an iPhone interface, BUT most of the time it will not and the forum will look exactly like it does when viewed thru Safari and load the same. Keep in mind I have tried this app on multiple php sites including my own and it does not let you login properly which renders this app useless. They also say that have a support forum, but here is the kicker, they do not respond to many issues that are posted. I am so angry that this below par app developer got 2.99 of my money and I am even more mad Apple allows these apps that do not work to grab your money and run. So over all this app---->EPIC FAIL

I bought this thinking it would be a smoother way to view forums that don't have mobile website designs, and really I've been nothing but disappointed. It crashes frequently, has issues with logins, and is generally inferior to viewing any of the supported forums through Safari. Probably the only application purchase I've regretted since I got an iPhone over a year ago.

I like the idea behind this app very much. I have been waiting for an app which would allow me to check the forums I follow on a regular basis without having to use Safari and I would be willing to pay $10 for such an app. The problem is "Forums" does not deliver on its promises. Out of 3 forums I (easily) added to the app, 1 shows up as "not available", 1 crashes the app everytime, and 1 kind of work (vbulletin) but with too many bugs to make it useful: the most recent threads show as "not available" (though the older threads work fine), the list of recent threads looks messy, and I still can't figure out how to sign on and post on a forum using this app. My advice: stay away from this app until some serious improvements are made.

Doesn't work with vbulletin. Will not read threads. Only the thread titles lists and are duplicated many times. The login link is hardcoded and doesn't point to the right address. This app doesnt work as advertised, please refund my purchase.

At first I only gave this app a one star because at the time it was $10 and had a lot of problems. But now not only have they lowered the price but they have fixed most of the problems. Most forums I am a member of I can import with this app. The great thing about this app is it imports the forums into a style that works great on your iphone (it's not a web app). Also you can post from your iphone/itouch. This was something that was a problem to begin with but has since been fixed. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is I feel there are two things that they need to add. One (the most important) is that the keyboard go horizontal. Not having this feature makes it a pain to type post and would be much easier if the app could rotate. The second (and I'm not sure if you can do this or how hard it would be) is to import the sign in screens to iphone friendly pages. Right now you have to go to the website and sign in and that's not always the easiest thing to do. It would be great if that was in app also. Overall though this app is worth the $4 and is a solid app.

The idea for this app is great. I was looking forward to using my favorite forums--unfortuneately I paid $10 for a useless app. I added forums-- but cannot do anything because the application will not allow you to log in with your forum account--fix that and it would be worth the money.

Just downloaded the app and I see that it has potential. Forums supported the forum that I post regularly on and I was able to read and reply to every relatively recent thread in the main forums. However, it did not support any of the site's many subforums, a feature that I would like to see added in an update. In contrast to some of the other reviewers, I was able to access all pages of threads, but I would like to see more options for page navigation. The Jump to Page feature is tolerable for now, but I'd like to see buttons that would allow you to go the next page, the previous page, the first page, and most importantly, the last post of a thread. Also, while stickied threads are located at the top of forums, they are not distinguished as stickied threads and should be labeled as such so they are not confused with un-stickied threads. My final wishes in an upgrade would be a "New Posts" feature in which just threads with unread posts would appear, a members list, and a search feature. I'm giving it 3 stars because while it works OK right now it is not yet worth $3. If needed changes are made I will definitely give this app 5 stars. If you're actively involved with a couple of forums, I would suggest first registering for the support forums and verifying that the forums you visit are supported, and then wait for the next upgrade. Don't buy just yet.

I tried out the free version briefly before buying the full app. Ironically, I feel the free version has a slightly nicer interface in terms of aesthetics, but don't like ad supported free apps personally, and wanted to see if the paid version allowed for posting (which it does). I added two forums, the first being a vBulletin forum and the second an ExpressionEngine forum. The vB forum seems to work well in terms of reading/browsing, but the app crashes any time I try and post a reply or new thread. The EE forum wouldn't display at all, which I was a little disappointed with since more and more forums I go to have forums developed with ExpressionEngine. Seems this is an early release so I won't be too hard on my review and like I said, in terms of browsing it works fine for vB at least (in fairness to the developer he doesn't list EE as supported, but it would be great to see it included in an update). Besides that, as other reviewers have said it doesn't support other forum features found on forums when accessing via browser (PM, calendars, control panels, etc), which is probably asking a lot. Two things I think should be a priority are landscape mode and a way to search the forums your browsing (crucial!). Besides that, it would also be great to have a way to view all new threads/posts since your last visit, which is something most forums support. Anyhow, in my opinion it's ridiculous to see people gripe in these reviews about wasting their .99 - 2.99. No doubt it's frustrating to go through the motions of installing an app that doesn't deliver as promised, but considering a cup of coffee from Starbucks cost more, I think people need to cut some slack and show some patience or developers should charge a bit more and step their game up. 3 stars for a good solid start. 4 stars when the bugs get worked so at least the listed forums work as expected, and 5 stars when we see a more complete feature set (landscape and search). Still recommended, but perhaps test your favorite forum with the 'lite' version to confirm it works before buying the full version.

It doesn't really work well but the interface is solid and has tremendous potential due to the fact that there are no other apps in the store that tackle this function. If the author would at least attempt to update it would be nice. I hope this doesn't turn vaporous.

This app is a great starting point. Only problem i've seen so far is how images in a thread don't show up where they are supposed to. They show up at the bottom of each post. They need to show up as a thumbnail where they are supposed to with the option to view as full size and zoom.
