GREAT GRAPHIX! First truly commercial quality game I have seen on the iphone.OK, nitro cart was close, but this game goes far beyond that. This game really feels like a professionally made game, not some watered down product made just for cell phones. I really think they could (and should) charge more than $10 for this game. Just look at the screenshots!That said, I did one in to one minor bug - when using the accelerometer to control the game, the screen goes dark after a while. I think the game needs to do something to let the OS know that the user isnt idle while the game is playing.(NOTE - my user ID says "disappointed" - that was for another game review, not this one. Not sure how to fix that.)

So much depth!Gameloft outdid themselves with this one....i was just blown away by the overall quality of this game!At almost 100 megabytes in size, this game is one of the most graphically impressive games on the iPhone yet. Great car models, great tracks and backgrounds...even the music is impressive! The developer also paid attention to all of the smaller details like menus, layouts, customizations...everything in the game has depth! You get to choose from over 25 cars, and customize everything from rims, paintjobs to the ECU, Shocks, Weight Reduction and other aspects of your car. You even get girls to "tag along" with you in your cars during races to give your car a little performance boost. Tracks range in locales from San Francisco and New York to Monte Carlo and Shanghai, 12 tracks in all. There are different racing modes, from a standard track race to "Beatem All," "Duel", and many more. Controls are pretty spot-on, and little events during races like cop chases, takedowns and bonuses help keep things interesting. If youve ever played Gran Turismo or the Need For Speed series on consoles, then this game will feel like home for you. This game will easily take 25-30+ hours to beat, and will provide hundreds more of fun. Highly recommended, EASILY worth the $10.00. Cant wait to see what updates for this game will bring!

This game is worth more then 10 dollars.(not asking for price raise)There were people working very hard for a long time in this game. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN THIS!i got this game and started playing it, and i couldnt stop. Iplayed it for hours before putting it down. THE GOODS:-graffixs are amazing-lots of cars, including the buggatti VEYRON, lotus, bmw, aston, chevy, kawisaki, and ferrari just to name a few-MULI PLAYER MODE!!!- this is why i bought this game, so i can play all of my friends, just make up a user name and your ready to play online-you can change out parts on your cars and bikes, motor, cylenders, exhoust, wheels, tires, ecu, crank, suspension, weight reduction kits, air filter-lots of different maps, each with 4 DIFFERENT types of races, including race, cop chase, duel, ect.-you have 3 different ways to control your car,brakes, and nos1. you can tap the left and right sides of the screen and your go in that direction, tap the brakes to stop, and tap the nos to go faster and knock out other players2. you can tilt your iphone/itouch to the left and right to steer, tilt it forward to use nos, and tap for the brakes3. you can have a mini steering wheel which you can turn left and right to steer, and then you can tap for brakes and nos-you can see your world ranking quickly and easily, as well as join games or host oneTHE BAD:- not too much to say here, but sometimes the camera will change to a heliocopters point of view, which threw me off at first

Best App Ive purchased yet!This game is fantastic and lived up to its hype and anticipation! It is well worth the money with great graphics, excellent gameplay, goals, and TONS of cars and tracks. This probably the first iPhone game to be fully developed. I have not tried the multiplayer yet but if it is anything like the game itself, it will be amazing. Lets hope other developers can start generating games of this degree!

This is defiitely the new standard for app store games.This isnt a toned down racing game or a developer just trying to make a buck. This is probably the first fully realized gamed on the iphone. Instead of just racing for time, like other games here, you make money, upgrade cars (LOTS of cars) and even motorcycles. YES, motorcycles! They dont advertise that, but theyre there. It starts with Ducatti Monster and goes up into faster sport bikes. You get extra money for wrecking other cars and causing damage to the city. Cops will case you too. You can even buy women... wait... what?Its not only a complete riot to play, but it look beautiful and has TONS of replay value. This is easily worth much more than $10 and is probably the first real competitor to the PSP and DS.

Good GameI love this. I can play with friends over wifi, unlock chicks, new cars and more. Totaly worth 9.99!!! Im looking toward for Need For Speed Undercover in November.Yes Im updating my post. The wifi wont work. Searching for servers or waiting for client is all I get. It might be a port on my linksys router. Note for the losers saying lower the price, if u can afford a $300.00 iPod or iPhone with 60 or 70 bucks a months that how come u cant afford a great game with amazing graphics that cost 10 bucks. DS games that are not even close cost more.Get a LIFE!! Gameloft,Add more tracks, girls and cars. Im almost done beating the and Im at 97 pecent done. Come on. Love the game help please see belowI am addicted and lile the game but someone please tell me why it wont let me past the progress level of 93 percent and the stats on how many medals I won I way off I keep winning fold everytime but it wont let me past 93 percent. It never shows silver or bronze and the stats are way off. But this is my favorite game so far. I just found the everest game and its my second favorite yes we need more cities more girls more cars

A Real Review:This is an astounding game, with a quality of game play that will keep you engaged for weeks. Youll pay $50 for similar functionality in racing games for the Mac, and Asphalt 4 in completely on a par. You can tune your car as you win more races, and the changes actually make a palpable difference in handling, acceleration, etc. Im amazed at the graphics-crunching ability of the iPhone every time Ive played the game over the last month. Its completely worth the $10 price - especially if you think of all the design and graphic complexity that went into it. Well done!

You can use the accelerometer!Many of the bad reviews for this app are coming from people who think using touch control is too hard. Well morons, ever since this app came out there has been an accelerometer feature. All you have to do is look in the settings, is it really that hard? Gameloft, please ignore those reviews because people too stupid to change the controls themselves dont deserve help.
