I have to retract my five starsAt first, I thought this was a very great Tetris game for the iPod, and it is, but it has a lot of down parts. The game is basically an advertisement disguised as a game. First of all, you have to sign up to Origin, their server, before you can create a profile to save your game data. This isnt too bad until you later find out that to play the game and save your data, you HAVE toy be connected to the internet. Heres the advertising part. To get far in galaxy mode, you either need to be flawless because every powerup drains your coins (150 on average) and you have to use them frequently. If you run out of coins, you cant use powerups. Without powerups, you cant get five stars. If you cant get stars, you cant get coins. If you cant get coins or stars then youre stuck in the game. How do you get coins? You have to buy them.For 2.99 you get 1500 coins. I HAD 5200 from getting five stars on the beginning levels and used ALL the coins within the first 10 minutes. The only amount that will last for a little while is the 200000 coin pack which you have to pay $99.99 for!!! -You have to be connected to the internet and you have to have an Origin account to have a profile to save your data too. Not connected to the internet? You cant save.-You need coins to play the game and get anywhere. If you use all your coins (which is very likely) you have to buy them... A LOT of them.The .99 cents is to get you to start paying the big bucks.

Seriously?1) Honestly, I hate games like these. Games where they take a popular game like UNO or Simon Says and then add twists that arent even related.Why not just make a new game if youre just going to obscure the old one?2) Already had the first version, shouldnt have bought the second one. I fell for their greedy money grabbing acts.3) Doesnt work that well. Blocks randomly slam down and rotate without my command.4) I dont think anyone knows about the game server Origin, but all iPhone users have Game Center so why not use that?5) Like everyone else says, annoying greedy corporate business men who just care about holding their jobs and salaries.If your seriously love the original Tetris I recommend going on eBay and getting a gameboy and the Tetris game. Much better than this stuff.

Should have been an updateThis just reeks of EA trying to con money out of you. Theyre basically making you pay to fix the old app that they broke in the first place. Plus the old glitch where the pieces slam down on their own sometimes? Its still there!Plus the whole T-coins thing looks like a major scam to me.Plus the design is too flashy and distracting. The old app was way better. Feels like theyre trying to distract us with something shiny.

Why not update?I already paid for the old Tetris for iPhone so why wasnt this an update? Instead Tetris creators deleted the old iPhone Tetris and uploaded this better one.What a bunch of scammers.

Great GameGreat game, however; I already owned Tetris. They should have just updated it instead of making me pay again. One Touch more is interesting. Miss Tetris magic a little. Wish they had a versus mode that connected with Facebook. I love the new simple design. And the music is finally not annoying. Id give it five stars but I took away one for making me pay for it when I already bought Tetris. And I took away another for using Orgin instead of Game Center. It wouldnt be so bad if it was hidden away in the settings, but its right there and the icon for Orgin doesnt even support the retina display. Also GC is so much better and in the background. Lose this crappy Orgin, and/or add GC and Ill give you another star. On top of that: show me why it was worth it for me to pay again and Ill give you another. You can get 5 stars, but right now youre not quite there. Good luck EA.
