Control anything
Lemur is a professional iOS controller app that doesnt cut any corners. It lets you control anything, any way you want. Total flexibility means it can go as deep as you need it to. Lemur can control DJ software, live electronic music performance software, studio production software (DAWs), VJ software, visual synthesis software, stage lighting and more. In fact, any software or hardware that can be controlled by MIDI/OSC can be controlled by Lemur.
A controller unequalled
Lemur has often been imitated but never equalled. The physics engine, which can make faders and balls bounce, is entirely unique: allowing anything from a slight organic feel to absolutely chaotic modulations. Lemur goes deep: it comes with more than twice as many objects as comparable apps. Options for adjusting the look and feel of objects are vast, and connection to your gear is simple.

- Scripting
Theres absolutely no need to dive into scripting if you dont want to. But if youre the type who likes to get their hands dirty then theres a powerful scripting engine inside Lemur. Harnessing this power will allow you to build extremely dynamic templates.
- Editor
The Lemur editor, is a cross-platform (OS X/Windows) interface builder. It allows you to create new Lemur templates or edit existing ones. The drag & drop interface makes it easy to use. It allows you to create anything from the simplest set of faders to the most complex groovebox with no hassle.

Simply connect your iPad/iPhone to your laptop over Wi-Fi and make the connection! Lemur also supports CoreMIDI allowing you to use hardware interfaces such as Alesis iO Dock or the iConnectMIDI or class-compliant USB MIDI interfaces (with a camera connection kit). You can even control up to 8 computers from one iPad with Lemur!

	This is it! The pinnacle!This is the moment I have been dreaming of ever since the iPad was first announced. Goodbye Touchable, Griid, TouchOSC, the development with the Lemur is lights years ahead. That being said, the Lemur is not for the faint of heart. Setup is not quite as easy as Griid or Touchable, which is super easy. I wouldnt recommend it to someone who needs a simple Ableton controller, or someone who is fairly new to Ableton/Max world. But if you want cutting edge this is it. The Lemur editor has quite a bit of of a learning curve. Its very advanced, once again, not for the faint of heart. However, on the Liine website, there is already an amazing amount of templates, modules, step sequencers, ect., for Ableton and other DAWs in the User Library. The best part! You can download Mu. The lemur controller for Ableton, which ridiculously amazing. Honestly its what the other guys where trying to be like. So this is it! The real thing. A real wireless Lemur. God its good to have an iPad

	Brilliant...The other review pretty much summed it up... not for the casual user (at all) but it is the real thing. I think Im still in shock at how good a port it is. -If you have an iPad and always longed for a lemur then this is for you.

	Great app once you get it set up.I would give this app a 5, but it is difficult to set up. Customer service responds quick to your questions though. I was going to buy me the mpk 49 and Im glad I didnt. This does have a difficult learning curve, so take that into consideration.

	The Best Thing To Happen To Your iPad AND Your MusciHands down the best app for iPad. I bought an iPad after seeing a Lemur (the hardware version) being used by Bob Ostertag. I figured it was "close enough". Until recently, it wasnt. Dont get me wrong, for the price, TouchOSC is an amazing program, but nothing stands up to the Lemur app. This app is nothing short of mind-blowingly incredible. Considering the original hardware Lemur was about $2000 at its cheapest, this app alone makes the iPad worth buying if you are a serious musician. I would pay double the asking price even if it were the last $100 on the planet. I am so in love with the functionality of this app. However, it is not for the casual user! This is some advanced stuff! Took me quite a while to be able to use this program with Logic 9, but once you get it figured out, this thing is UNSTOPPABLE. If you have an iPad and you are at all serious about music, BUY THIS APP. If you are serious about music but dont have an iPad, BUY AND iPAD AND THEN BUY THIS APP. You wont regret it. Promise.

	Absolutely stunningI am definitely not a rich guy, so I really had to consider whether this app was worth $50. Well Ive come out of 36 consecutive hour frenzy with it, and I can tell u that this thing is everything you ever coveted in the original, forever out of touch Lemur hardware. Dont compare it with TouchOSC, these are two different animals. I love them both, but I could never figure out how do half the stuff this app does without considerable headaches in TouchOSC. The Liine Lemur just works, and now all those templates I used to drool over work on my iPhone. Amazing. And the Physics- youll want ALL your controls to bounce once u discover it. Its solid, its beautiful, it does anything and its way easier to configure than most OSC apps. Love it. Oh and though u have to scroll, the iPad templates are somewhat usable with an iPhone, another bonus

	The MOST powerful touch controller available.I pined over the Lemur when it first was released, but never got to buy it for its $2K price tag... now, finally, I have it for only $50 and the price of an iPad. Im an avid user of Ableton Live, and have successfully set up Mu to function with this app. Its a work of art, an amazing - super customizable - controller, that offers anything and everything the user could want, only limited by your willingness to set it up.Setup is not simple. It takes a bit of learning to understand how to edit the templates in the Lemur Editor, but its alot of fun to create a controller thats your own... just the way you want.In order to use Mu, the Ableton API controller, Max For Live must be purchased and installed. If you have the Live, the Lemur App, and Max for Live... Put the Mu 1.2 folder in the Cycling 74 folder, and drop the Mu.amxd (Max Device) into Lives Master channel, and the Lemur App will instantly update the Template and mock whatever youve created in Live.

The editor allows for quick and easy template creation,integrated scripting allows much more like real time feedback,color changing,step sequencing,and automation. The physics control of objects is a major feature worth mentioning. You can set individual objects speed/friction/attack-decay-sustain-release,hold and x,y,z,while maintaining visual coordination too. Lemurs visual feedback has to be seen to be believed. The user library has some templates to get you started,plus users can create and share templates to expand on the endless creation possibilities.One should note that the editor can get VERY complex,and there is a steep learning curve when it comes to scripting and visual feedback. Out of the hundreds of hardware/software MIDI & OSC controllers,this app is at the very top,in a league of its own. 	Buggy, buggy, buggyNo undo (that actually works, more like a crap shoot as to what and how far it undoes). The editor stinks, cant paste from a real editor unless you feel like going in by hand and putting in carriage returns. This would be a terrific application if they fixed the editor but at this point I feel like I threw $50 away to be an alpha tester. By the way this didnt happen once, it happened 3 times. The only way to really get a handle is to LIVE on the forum, the manual leaves much to be desired.

	Outstanding and easyI was really worried about getting Lemur up and going, but I managed to have it controlling Logic Pro in about 30 minutes. And the possibilities are endless. I now have a new go to app whenever I am creating music on logic.
