Fun Game, But LackingThe graphics are good and the gameplay feels great especially when the killers are running towards you. My only gripes are that there is only one soundtrack on a loop that gets annoying after a while and how minimal the sound effects are. There are literally no adjustments in the options menu. As good as the game is, it feels a bit unpolished.I would like for the developer to enable the ability to listen to our own music playlist while the app is running and also to have options to adjust the controls and sound of the game.Ive noticed a bug like the undead can still cut me through the safety house door while its closed. Thats the only one Ive noticed so far because I only gave it a few play throughs. I hope they plan on updating and fixing some of the issues real soon. Its still a recommended app purchase.

Zombie Survival Horror (played on an iPad 2)I was apprehensive about purchasing this game initially so I did a little bit of research. I checked out touch arcades write up on the game and got the courage to purchase the game. Even more scary than zombies is buying a video game on the app market that I know very little about. Some games are real stinkers, I hate it when I buy one of those. Im thankful that this game is not. Its not perfect, it is challenging, and it is fun!This game has some rouge like elements to it, like when you die you lose all your items and start from the beginning. The plus side to that is you get to keep any points you acquired before you died to upgrade your hero in your new game. The other thing is each time you start a new game all of the items are semi randomly placed, so that mixes things up a little.I found that the game is pretty suspenseful. I didnt get the odd camera angle at first but I started to see that the limited visual range created a little bit of tension to my gaming experience.I guess if I were to sum this game up, its like playing a low budget zombie horror film...thats a good thing!

Too annoying to be fun.Its a nice shot, but the controls are kinda lousy (particularly the virtual joystick--you have to touch it dead-on with your thumb, if you dont then you wont move and youll be a zombie chow). Additionally, the camera is zoomed in way too close to the player character... I guess the games hero is nearsighted but lost his glasses, since apparently youre not allowed to see further than five feet in front of him at any time. I suppose there are redeeming qualities of the game, but I played five minutes before I got sick of the above problems, so I havent experienced much of what might be good about it.

This game does a pretty good job of stripping out superfluous features and gives you the bare bones goodness that survival games should be about. I really hope this developer continues to add more features later on down the road because right now there isnt a ton of depth. Dont let that discourage you though, try it out!

Good game but controls need some workI like the game, but I dont like dying because I did not put my thumb directly on the virtual thumb-stick. Add a floating virtual-thumb stick and I would rate this higher.

Unpolished, but great fun.This is a great little survival horror game. Kind of rough around the edges, but I really dig it. The item locations are randomized plus you can level up your character. So, youll get a lot of replay value out of this. A real surprise of a game.
