Description

European War (musket & artillery) is a new style strategy game for iPhone & iPod. It takes you to battleground Europe during the eighteenth century and nineteenth century. In this game many tactics been used in order to defeat the other forces. You can select six empires: British, French, Ottoman, Russia, Germany and Austro-Hungary in this age. If your army conquest enemy’s territory your total tax revenue will be improved. You would get all of the empire’s Territories and improve yourself total tax revenue after your army conquered enemy’s Capital. Tax can be used to purchase cards (Draft Card, General Card, Marshal Card, Ship Card, Fortress Card, Cannon Fire Card.)
FEATURES:
-Include five difficulty levels.
-Include 6 common cards and 6 empire‘s special cards.
-Include two mode: CONQUEST MODE and BATTLE MODE.
-CONQUEST MODE: select one of the six empires to defeat other empires.
-BATTLE MODE: select six campaigns (Battle of Toulon (1793), Battle of Marengo (1800), Battle of Austerlitz (1805), Battle of Tannenberg (1914), Battle of Galicia (1914), Battle of Gallipoli (1914)) .
-72 Territories (include sea and capital) every territory has its taxation.
-Extend risk style battle mode (easy, various and interesting).

European war, is worth every penny. It's a great refreshemnt from those gritty and somewhat questionable games such as Risk and Conquest, but European War truly brings something a bit more refreshing to the strategy genre for the Iphone and Itouch. European war places you in charge of several European nations, instead of just showing numbers, military forces are symbolized with a mix of cavalry, cannons, and infantry occasionly mixed with each other, to form cool virtual figurines. It's extremely similar to conquest and Risk, but it's WAY more diverse and fun to play. You can even tke control of the seas. The controls are extremely simplistic. Unfortuantely, this is yet a another game that somehow slips and fall short of 100% solidly fun game. The controls are fine, and the use of a card system is interesting, but is merely a decorative scheme to the game. However, the game lacks size, scale, and scope. You fight for control of Europe, but land spaces to control are not numerous, so you might and up fighting for the balkans for what seems like 3 hours, but still not gaining a strong enough income to make a much large military force to gaurd yur posessions. This also brings us to the fact that income gained for controlling land IS EXTREMELY SMALL. and the fact that there are a very limited amount of territories to control leaves you in utter frustation as you fight hard to ward off amphibious assualts on your capital and vying for control over land that gives you a mere 21 coins against 6 other nations who also want taht land. It might make gameplay a bit more exciting, but it leaves you utterly desperate, and causes players to feel frustration and STRESS. The game basicly needs more territories to control. Also, it's extremely dissapoiting that you are not able to form treaties, alliances, non agression pacts, and othr diplomatic orders to make you more immersed into the mangament of your European empire. And that fact that this game lacks a 2 player mode, whther playing one 1 itouch/iphone, or 2iphones/itouches, is a force that renders this game some of its replayability utterly useless. It's a great game and worth every penny, but it's likely that this game will grow cobwebs on your device.

I love this game. It's very addictive and challenging at first but once you get the hang of it the game gets easy. I wish they'd make a harder level or expand to a world mission or something. Overall excellent though for the price.

gameI have select all of the six countries to conquest the whole Europe in mid-hard mode,but I cant succeed in the hardest mode,too crazy!If the soldiers in the map can move a bit , this game will be perfect.Anyway,this is really a cool game!

Great game!This game is addictive. Combines Risk and Diplomacy. Colorful maps and military sprites. Easy to play, scroll across map and direct navy and army units. Dont expect to win! Russia is nigh impossible. Turks and Brits have the advantages. Dont expect a quick game at any level. Well worth the $2.99. Youll wish you could play it on a bigger screen if youre into strategy. Good start: please make moreLoved the game. I want more from it, though, and i would buy a sequel. Improvements to make:Battle mode is weak. It really isnt substantially different from campaign mode. Need more maps- especially for battle mode.Need more territories for campaign map. Would be much more fun with 5 times the number of territories.Need to separate capitals. The close proximity makes the game less enjoyable.Need ability to make alliances and treaties.Need more players other than the original 6. I dont like that capturing a capital defeats the opponent. Capturing a capital should give a bonus to the conquering army, but an enemy should not be defeated until he is completely eliminated from ALL territories. Special generals: special general cards that would allow a players general to have special movement abilities (such as attacking more than once per turn from a particular territory or moving troops more than one territory in the same turn. Thank you for a great game. I look forward to more maps and more improvements! Give me more! Ill pay!!Thanks.

Need more help on how to play!This app looks FABULOUS and seems to have the potential to be a much better Risk-style game than any other out there. However, the tutorial doesnt tell you everything you need to know to play the game and play it well. Also, there is no further details on their website and no way to contact support. And what little info there is is written in choppy English and is hard to understand in some places.

A Great BuyThis game is very enjoyable and a great buy for anyone who loves Risk. I love the strategy that is involved in the game and I could play this for hours, if my iPod touchs battery would allow it. I believe this game could be evolved into a global game that could compete with Risk. Even on easy, this game is still difficult to beat. A couple countries could be added, like Spain and Italy, and that would probably require more territories to space out the capitals. Good gameplay and player friendly; doesnt take too much time to learn. Pros: Everything, I cant find much wrong with it. Cons: Needs alliances and treaties. Capitals sometimes seem a bit too close; Berlin and Vienna connect, as well as Paris and London, more territories to spread them out more.

A great gameI think that this is a great game, however, there could be some improvements. For instance, expanding the map would be nice. Make it so that Berlin doesnt take up 3/4 of Germany. Also, some of the graphics could be improved so that there is more to distinguish the different countries then the flag and blue is attacker and reams is the defender. But overall it was a great game.

European WarI love this game so much but I wish you could form alliances and play a 2 player mode and I wish you guys could make a game during world war 1 just like you did with European War 2 and I wish that you could make more battle scenes that involve all countries and plus make the map much bigger as most of the territorys are to small and Add the Swedish Empire and the Spanish Empire and enlarge the map to include North Africa and Southwest Asia next time you update this game
