	The developers really listen to the coments because any errors that people had with the app they fixed really quick, and added new great features really quick too, there were several great updates that made the program easier and better to use. 	I tried a few other apps but they had one or another thing missing. I must say that gymgoal is by far the best training app out there ever! Love how it integrates lifting w/cardio, and very easy to log stuff independently and the app organizes it all. Congratulations for that extraordinary work.

	Best training app, period. 1. It gives you a lot of flexibility, especially for more complex routines like split sets, super sets, etc. 2. It has a good database. I have had to add some things, but usually just proprietory machines that I am not sure GymGoal has the license to represent in their software. 3. It allows you to backup and restore data remotely. 4. The best, but strangely super-secret feature: It allows you to email ALL of your results for a given year to yourself, in both a .txt and .html format. Not only that, but it is organized in a tabular format so that you can easily use AutoFilters in Excel to sort all the exercises easily, whether it's cardio, weightlifting or something else. Other apps and websites allow you to export data, often for a fee, but the formatting is usually so bizarre as to be useless (see Livestrong). Not so with this app. Overall, there are two things that seem obvious about the developers of this product: 1) They really know what weight lifting enthusiasts want, and 2) they really know what nerdy, data hungry enthusiasts want. This is one of the best apps in the iTunes store. The only thing that would make this app extra perfect would be if it had a companion website where you could construct your workouts and then upload them to the app. It's a bit of a pain using iPhone's type pad to enter long and complex workouts, but that's not really this apps fault. Very well done, guys.

	I tried iFitness on the first go around, and this app blows it out of the water. The animations and tracking tools are great. I also use the BMR and TDEE calculations to truth check my other weight loss app and plan my calorie intake accordingly.

	I've used iFitness for over 6 months, but it has a bunch of minor flaws that do make a difference for your workouts such as easy access to previous sets and logs, the ability to create supersets, or to create complete routines, not just workouts. I tried gymgoal when it first came out. Used iFitness for I would think about a year now, and MR forum member suggested gymgoal. I took a second look and was BLOWN away at the improvements all the way down to the customizable timers. I can see one or two MINOR fixes, and the app would be perfect!

	No denying there are 4 main workout log apps: iFitness, GymBuddy, GymGoal and iStayFit. About 4 months ago I switched from iStayFit to Gymgoal and don't regret although the other app was great as well. My main reason for the switch -- GymGoal allows you to attach multiple photos to any exercise which means I can get great photos attached virtually of any content -- screen captures, pdfs, magazines -- you name it. Currently, I have made screen captures from fitness mags I had in pdf format on my hard drive and attached them from iPhone's photo library. iFitness only allows 1 photo per each custom (not stock) exercise. I am keeping a star off for now because I would like to see some cosmetic changes -- mostly on the front (home) page. I think the button layout is slightly confusing, and I would tuck away some of the buttons I hardly use and more prominently feature others Also, the app icon is OK but it could be more professional. I like iFitness and iStayFit icons best.

	I loved the free version of this app, Gymgoal ABC, so I thought the full version would be awsome. But for the price you don't really get anything more than the free version. Specifically, no more workout routines, no more exercises and no better workout log than what you could do w/ free version.

	I've used this application for two weeks now. I was a bit worried that the GUI would be hard to understand. Not so! This program is loaded with performance and the user interface is well laid out. I'm very pleased I went with this one. I allowed the program to recommend a routine for me and I very much enjoy it. I'm getting a very very good workout. I had to swap out a few exercises as my gym didn't have a few of the recommended machines bit it was easy to do. I feel like a pro - like I know what I'm doing. This has turned my casual workout into a passion. I'm really working out hard now. My muscles thank you!

	Great app but a little expensive with iFitness only being $1.99... None the less it does everything you could hope for and more! It is also very easy to use.

	I've been using GymGoal together with iFitness for a couple if months now, and am pretty much satisfied with both. A couple of things that are missing in GymGoal comparing to iFitness are 1) no high-res images, for retina display 2) much fewer exercises GymGoal also hasn't been updated for the past 2 months, while iFitness has already been updated 2 or 3 times (with more exercises and higher-res images). I'm thinking of switching to iFitness if they keep updates coming and if GymGoal won't catch up.

	Good News. Developer said he's working on desktop version of GymGoal. As soon as that's finished (late September/Early October) he'll be back to updating this app for iOS 4 and Retina graphics :)

	I like this app. It works exactly as says. It is not always intuitive when you need to go back to a prior routine in the same workout or accidently jump out of the app and then want to resume the workout. That being said, overall great app.
