AwesomeGreat addition to the growing library of binaural beat generators/players on iTunes.Excellent tone choices. I think that I will come to prefer this above all the others for meditation or lucid dreaming; the tones create a pleasant "hum" and are not distracting. They remind me of the album Binaural Beats for the Shamanic Journey, which is my current favorite- except this didnt cost $10, LOL.There is always room for improvement, of course:- Some lengthier time limits would be nice. 75, 90, 120.- When new to this app, I can see it being frustrating not knowing what the different programs mean and having to scroll down the Info screen to reference them. (There is quite a bit of information on that screen, by the way, which is great- especially when youre trying to explain to someone what binaural beats are.)

Great App with amazing customer seriviceLike many of the people reviewing this app, at first i had trouble syncing to itouch 1st gen. I contacted the author at the provided e-mail address and recieved a reply in less than a day. The author was extremely polite and offered to petition itunes to refund money to all those that purchased the app, only to discover the app did not work. Three days later i was delighted to discover an update was posted, allowing all users with the 2.0 software upgrade to run the application. I have personally been trying to achieve lucidness in a dream for nearly a month, and on the first night of using this app i was able to maintain fully lucid, a feeling that i can only describe as being euphoric. Definitly deserves the 5/5 stars

Great, but beware the lucid dream functionI didnt get any lucid dreams. Just some really vivid and disturbing dreams. After three nights in a row of the same thing, I think Ill just use the other functions. Maybe its just me, but I just thought Id give a bit of a warning.

My favoriteAt first I was a little skeptic about this app, but when I used it for the first time...it worked like a charmTheres only one complaint: Can you guys make an update so that the sound will fade away smoothly not just stop abruptly? OMG - Skeptic turned believer(I always wonder if the reviewers have any ties to the developers-I do not) I was excited when I first heard about binaural beats, but after reading the wikipedia post which said that the mood altering benefits were debatable and left them to the new age hippies, I was very skeptical. I tried another app in the app store called Oxygen which had some great reviews for .99. To be honest I did feel an effect... but not a good one. I left me pretty dazed and unable to clearly think afterward. In my readings everyone is different and different tones variables help different people. I wasn’t going to try another app like this but Brain Hack was .99 and the concept was still interesting for me. After trying this app many times I can say for sure this app works WELL for me. In comparison to the Oxygen app, the tones are very easy to listen to and the effects are true to their billing. I first tried the relax mode and after 10 minutes it was better than any muscle relaxer (drug) that I have ever taken. I know that is a bold statement-but true (for me). The effect lasted for at least 3-4 hours. I have also tired the alert and meditate functions and they both work very well. The alert gives you a nice coffee like high and meditate puts me into a trance. The only suggestions to the developer on this app would be to echo one comment, please make the tones fade after the time limit. Also, it would be awesome if you could browse the web and look at stuff while you were getting your "treatment." I cant say enough about this app and how it has confirmed there is a very powerful "something" around binaural beats. This app may not work for you. Everyone is different, but the bad reviews on this app in my opinion are unfair. I use an iPod Touch V2 and no crashes so far.

Works on my iPod Touch 1st Gen with 2.1, GREAT APPI do not know why everyone is saying this doesnt work with 1st Gen devices. It does.I think some of the sounds may need to be corrected. There is a pop in the Stress Release and Universe selections at high volume.I would like to have the option to add noise to a selection. Some of the windows apps I have used in the past like Gnaural allow for this. That way background noise is drowned out by pink or brown or white noise.

Very helpfulThis app, in one phrase, is simply phenominal. Within my first time using the lucid dream setting, I was able to remebed my dreams. The sleep aid works great for me, as well as most of all the other settings I tried. I reccomend this app for everyone.

Great, popular app, not as worked on anymore.I really like this app. BrainHack is amazing. But there are a few things that need done. As you can see there are numerous binaural beats apps out there these days. They offer way more then Brain Hack does. I have owned the brain hack app for a number of months, but while it remains mostly the same, other apps are improving their product, providing more mindsets then the ones offered by Brain Hack. You have a lot of competition out there now, I recommend working on your product, to allow it to compete with other products of this nature on the app store. Pros to brain hack are that it is very simple to use, compared to other apps that have a lot more to work with before it actually works, Brain Hack is get up and go with its product. Cons are that it does not fade out, and that it is not worked on as much for what it provides. Other then that, Brain Hack is great. thanks for your time!

Very useful, crashing on ios 3Used to be very solid, new fade outs seem nice. However it crashes 2 out of 3 times launched under ios 3.1.2. Keep starting it and it will run eventually, but thats less than ideal.
