Download WeBe Server for Windows or Mac OS X from the website, start application
Download Webe Client for iPhone / iPod touch (Appstore), launch application
Webe Client finds all available WeBe Server in the same network => select WeBe Server and your mouse is ready!
✩Attention! Please deactivate Bluetooth on your iPhone/iPod touch if you are going to use WeBe over Wi-Fi or Ad-Hoc (to avoid slow reaction time).

	Wish I could give it ZERO stars!What a waste of time and money - a totally useless app. Ive got 3 Macbooks, all running the latest SnowLeopard, an iPhone 3GS, and a very fast network - cant get this app to work on any of them. No matter what I try, the app just states, "Waiting for WeBe servers...". Ive never had an issue with any wireless or Bluetooth devices before. Please dont waste your money on this one. Nice idea, if it would have actually worked.

	Deceptive: Bluetooth needs TETHERINGI was attracted by the bluetooth feature -- all other iPhone-as-trackpad/mouse apps are just wi-fi-based. (Im happy with RemoteTap, but wi-fi signals are disabled in the classroom where I need a remote pointer).Not until deep in the in-app documentation did I find this sentence italicized in parentheses: "(... For Bluetooth & cable youll need tethering capability!)"... Oh? But tethering, at least under AT&T and various other carriers, requires either jailbreaking or other unsupported messing-about with system-level configurations. Perhaps this app is worth more than one star, in terms of what it can do for the price. But it must be penalized for deceptive product advertising: ordinary users who search for "bluetooth mouse" get this result, and they discover only after purchase that bluetooth requires (at least for most of them, currently) unsupported hacks. Thats a BAIT-AND-SWITCH tactic. I dont think Apple should have approved this app in its current form, frankly -- any more than theyd approve a more clearly jailbreak-reliant app -- Perhaps they approve it because tethering is OK with certain non-US carriers.There may be a legit user base for this app, and if it were the only player in the field it would be worth the price for the wi-fi use. And people with tethering may be happy it is available through the app store. My complaint is that it seems to promise, right in the title, something that it cant deliver to standard users, and nothing in the official app description corrects that misunderstanding.

	Great Idea, Long Overdue. Needs 10.6 CompatibilityI use a Magic Mouse -- which I LOVE -- so its only natural that I should be able to turn my roughly same-sized iPhone into a multi-touch mouse on the go. Ideally, I could just pack my MacBook and go, leaving the mouse behind and using the phone when I need something other than the trackpad. The option for bluetooth or cable is an advantage over similar offerings that only work via WiFi as hotel and workplace WiFi is often configured/secured in such a way that two devices cant communicate directly (plus the hotel will try to charge you twice if you log on from different devices).Unfortunately, my MacBook runs Mac OS X 10.6 and WeBe server is currently incompatible with that version. Once it is, I can add a star. Under 10.5, it works near flawlessly, though you do have to watch placement if using in Bluetooth mode. This is well worth the two bucks.

	Works well 4/5It was relatively easy to install on my computer and only took a few minutes to figure out. Only negative thing I have to say about it so far is that the keyboard is kind of tricky to bring up. But I expect that that will get easier as I get used to using it.

	The negative reviewers know nothing...I wish I could give it more. I took Gabriels advice and contacted him before buying. He immediately responded and, let me know when updates pushed my ideas forward. I just purchased this, and it works flawlessly with my MBP running 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard). This app and more like it (utilizing bluetooth) has been needed for a while. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

	Absolutely worthlessI felt bad giving this one star. Shouldnt get any. It is worthless. It doesnt work at all. Complicated (top say the least) to set up and when you log on and set it up on your computer it installs a couple of miscellaneous junk that you dont want. Dont waste your time.

Getting this installed and working itself was painful. The process is1) Install Java from the applications website2) Next install Bonjour from applications website3) If the server does not work - uninstall and reinstall bonjour until it works.I got to this point and then found that although I can connect my iphone to my XP laptop with bluetooth, I needed tethering on my phone to get the app on the phone to connect to the server on the XP system. At this time I gave up. Complete waste of $2 and several hours of my time (worth much more)

	More responsive than free, wifi-based mouse appsI played with RemotePad for about an hour but found my cursor would delay or skip based on internet usage in the office. Not a lot, but enough to be annoying. WeBe seems to be the only app that uses tethering. Over 1 day of use, it has not skipped. That is worth $2 to me.Unfortunately it is hard to install. But that is because tethering is hard to set up. The app install itself is simple once you have tethering set up. While WeBe has a faq and support wiki including tethering info, it is not friendly to non-programmers.I like that WeBe allows me to use the entire surface; no status bar nor "bring up keyboard" button. The 3 finger swipe to bring up the keyboard is slightly unusual, but I prefer learning an unusual gesture if I gain the entire iPhone surface as a mouse pad. And even with the keyboard up, if you start mousing in the blue area, you can continue on top of the keys.I like the built in instructions on how to right click and drag.The gentle pulsing animation while the app is running is kind of nice, as well as the animation when you change the orientation. Strangely, WeBe does not support upside-down portrait orientation. That is the one most like a mouse, with the cable facing away from you.If two things would change I would give 5 stars: Support upside-down portrait orientation, and include a setting to disable the idle timer. I want my mouse pad to stay a mouse pad until I exit the app or disconnect. If I go get a coffee, I dont want to have to wake up my blank iPhone. After all, the iPhone is tethered and charging, so power management is not an issue. Funny, each of these 2 issues is a 1-line code change.

	Bluetooth BluesThe only reason I bought this was for the bluetooth feature. I read forums, studied tethering, and prayed. This app never connected properly. Since the bluetooth feature is a complete shot in the dark, the better wifi mouse app is the Logitech Touchmouse, it worked great immediately. I would still love a good bluetooth mouse.
