In short, if you need a PIM (including both events and tasks), this is the app you should be using and is the best-in-class app. It allows for keeping things simple or adding as much power as you need. If you run across a bug, they'll fix it and get you the fix before the next version is released if at all possible. This application continues to grow and develop, although not always according to the original plan, it evolves as it needs to and its users want it to. This is a company that listens to its userbase intensively to not only fix problems, but to add new features as it can. They may be working on three or four versions simultaneously to resolve issues with current versions, while still building on what is a solid platform. I'm always looking forward to the next release of this great program! It's finally replaced Agendus on my Palm T|X (which I wouldn't part with until six months ago, despite having an iPhone for two years). And my wife and I can share our calendars using Google, while keeping our tasks separate (but those can be shared, too, if we'd want them to be).

A great app; nothing else like it on the app store. Still, there are some very simple things that the developers could do to make it perfect. For one, the task list can't be used without some silly filtering/organizational scheme; all I want is a simple to-do list. Second, there's no way to show a graphical view of today's schedule all on one screen; you can either choose a nongraphical list of events or a scrolling (non-zoomable) graphical view. See? About a dozen simple changes like these are all that PI needs!

I like the functions, the ability to assign calendars to members of my family. However, I cannnot get the sync to work with Google. I've been in contact with support 3 times in the month I've had this. They are quick to get back to me. They do however, blame Google for the problem. I don't know where the problem lays, but I'm tired of having to go into Google to update changes I made on my iPod Touch. I don't always remember all the new appointments I put in either. Makes me miss my Palm Tungsten E2.

Not bad app and comparing it with Agendus. Am I missing something? Is there no connection to "contacts?" Graphic layout is great on PI ans is ease of use. I am trying to find a program as good as Agendus for Palm. So far, I am still looking.

This is simply the best calendar/todo list for the iPhone/iPad. Google Calendar integration, Toodledo integration, GTD-style structure... and at a fraction of the cost of single function apps like Omnifocu$. This is of my favorite apps.

After countless hours of messing around with every firewall and network setting, I still cannot get this app to synchronize correctly with outlook. I really wanted to like it, but it just doesn't integrate well (W7-64&Exchange). 2Do worked right out of the box for me and now I've deleted PI and Sync.

I really wanted to use this app and tried it twice at different times. The problem is that it has lost appointments I entered after syncing with Google calendar. I wasn't sure if it was me or not...but it happened on two different occassions to me and the second time I was paying close attention to what I entered and whether it was still in the calendar after syncing. Tonight I read another comment from someone who syncs with Google and they too lost appointments. This is not to be taken lightly as a missed appointment can be costly and embarrassing. If they really fix this problem once and for all I would consider trying it again...but very reluctantly. 5/21/2011 Update: Originally I wrote a negative review for the new version because of how it handled subtasks. I since have read the PI forums and now understand that this is just a basic implimentation of subtask for now and will be improved later. Based on the forum imformation I got subtasks to work properly and after exploring it a bit more have come to see that it works fine for now. I have increased my rating to 3 stars because I still haven't verified that it no longer loses appoinments, although so far so good. I do like the fact that the calendar and tasks are all in one application...I keep more on top of things this way.

Made task templates with "Project" clearly there in the template. Write a task, pick that template and NO PROJECT. Shows in the tasks as NONE instead of the project that was in the template when sorting by Project. WTF. Useless since I use Toodledo and that uses Project as Folder. No Folder, no proper arrangement. This worked OK up until Friday. I have changed NOTHING and now it doesn't work. Flaky. If I manually edit the task and choose to change the Project from say Administrative (which shows up in the task but doesn't really assign Administrative) to manually pick Administrative, lo and behold it now assigns it to the Administrative Project when sorting on Project. WTH are the templates for if I have to manually edit to get the same thing that was in the template?????

Deserves 4 stars when the newly introduced bugs are fixed. Project and context don't get passed from the templates - need manual editing to make it work. Templates don't have option to not have due date. Sub tasks still show at the same level as parent task - list them in separate screen when parent task is selected. Crashed once while setting parent/child link. The app is good and easy to use. Fix the bugs and improve on the sub task feature. It would be the best app if folder feature is added so projects can be organized better. Also add customizable filter groups on action types and importance.

Would like too be able to have a yearly view... In calendar mode. Last update leaves this thing crashing you out of it every now and then. Update: WHAT happens to data after a few months?? All info is deleted after 4 months

I had this app for five months now, and am still using Agendus on my 6 yr olds Palm for important tasks. It's instant fast and logical UI. Note to Informant maker, apply KISS methodology to your app making.

Gets better and better. The ability to have sub-tasks (child tasks) is priceless. Can't wait for OS 4 for the ability to integrate with the intrinsic iPhone calendar and be able to link tasks with Contacts. That would make this the one to beat.

Been using it for 6 months. Overall the concept is good. But not very well thought out w/ too many little problems. Too often appts just disappear-- both my wife and I have noticed this. It doesn't do well when you change time zones, either--all the appt times change, and the calendar dates and appt dates become improperly associated (i.e. Thursdays appts get moved to Friday). So if you travel much, this is NOT for you. Finally, for as easy as the iPhone makes navigation, this app destroys it all w way too many button pushes for every last little thing. Very inconvenient and time consuming. Needs significant improvement before I'll use it anymore.

I had written some time ago complaining about the poor sync ability of this application. There have been TWO recent updates and I am VERY HAPPY to report I am MUCHHHH more satisfied with the SPEED of the sync now! When I first got my iPhone I was still using my blackberry because I wanted my tasks to be integrated with my calendar, etc. I tried other apps and searched but all the others did one or the other. I couldn't get the full use and enjoyment of the iPhone due to having to still use a different device to stay organized. I agree with some of the other reviewers in terms of the sync issues and promises; however, I am so happy that everything is in one place and I can get my reminders too that I am trying to exercise a little patience on those issues. This is a great app. Was very hesitant about spending the addl amt and waited a while before I purchased but it was a no brainer once i did. I had to write a review and I usually don't take the time. Please work on the sync issues and then it will be five stars. June 4, 2010. And I am updating the previous review and lowering my rating because you can't sync tasks. Emailed Developers twice to see if this was in future. No response first time. Will see second time. Calengoo is doing what I want for less but I am partial to this app except for not being able to sync tasks. If this feature was coming it would be 5 plus stars.

Great app ... The gmail calendar sinc is the main reason i use it. It's perfect on the iPhone but i can see this being awesome on the iPad..... But i waited and waited ... Now I'm going to Calengoo. To bad you were too slow with the IPad vesion :( Calengoo is awesome so far!!!!
