Why....why must you be soo awesome with your FF games?! I started playing this and couldn't stop!! Just the thought that my music is the source of my characters was just like the COOLEST idea ever...especially making it for iPod's and such. You guys did an epic job on makin these, and you should maybe consider coming out with an actualy final fantasy tactics game for touches. And if you need beta testers for them, I would be more then happy to assist in that manner for you. Keep em comin!!

The summoning mechanic is a fun novelty, although it would be better if there were some rhyme or reason to how songs were matched with troopers. Beyond that it's pretty much just your run-of-the-mill Japanese RPG, complete with one-dimensional characters and shallow plot. Good for one playthrough, but not worth $10.

This game is the one that I find myself playing the most, both on my iPod Nano, and my iPod Touch. I think I got the game on sale earlier, but it was definately worth it. When you complete the game, the songs associated with the troopers change so you have to come up with a totally new tactic to beat the game. Of course you'll find your favorite troopers, but sometimes they are a bit hard to find!!!

This game is addicting. I recommend u NOT to NOT buy it. This is FF tactics with a lil less depth, but still an awesome game that will keep u up all day and night.

The storyline seemed like it was written by a 4th grader. The idea is azing I love making tune troopers! Everything about it is cool. But every time a character opens their mouth fail comes out! Terrible!

The game is absolutely awesome, I first played it on the iPod Classic and thought it was a great game and I was interested when they came out with the iPod Touch version as the story doesn't exactly take off from where the iPod Classic version did but rather starts over and revisits the whole thing only better from the get-go. It's great how you can make your players from your songs and you can create a playlist with all of the songs that represent your tune troopers and leave it playing on shuffle while you sleep and then enter the game and reap the benefits, watching as your characters get a boost in their stats. There is no denying the kind of Pocket Monsters "Gotta catch 'em all" theme that's going on with the troopers as you really don't need all THAT many troopers to progress in the game. Indeed, by the end of the game your Super-Stars will be your best players since they automatically progress to platinum, have no deployment limits and have the best attacks in their respective fields (i.e. Golden Wing = Knight, Highflier = Archer, etc). The only downside to the Super-Stars is that they have no song on your iPod to play and boost them, but the End-game battle is still winnable even so. It's an addicting game, very playable and a lot of fun but make sure you balance between Manual and Auto Save! If you rely only on auto save you may find yourself in a battle you can't win and you'll have to go back to wherever your last manual save was. "Save often" is always a golden rule in every RPG so that shouldn't be news to anyone. A little bonus feature after beating the game would be nice, an extra challenge or something more to do, something else to add to the story post-ending would be really cool but the game is great even without it. For only 10$ it's very much worth it with a lot of replay value.

Amazing and addicting game. I recommend it for all FF fans. Advice: watch out for Straight Flush, she's a b**** and her attacks are DEADLY!!!!

I was very impressed. But then again square always does a great job of pushing their games to the limit. I think $10 bucks is worth it, chances are, it might have been very expensive to develop. Think about work put into games before you rant about the price. Also I love how your characters level up by listening to your music. This feature is great for people who use their iPod touch or iPhone for listening to music and gaming (if you have an iPhone, using it as a phone as well). If you use your iPod touch for gaming solely or have no songs or use your iPhone as a gaming device/phone, I do not reccommend this. You cannot summon troops without music and if you do have songs, you don't gain levels to well if you don't play music too much. I saved up money just to get this. It was worth it. (I don't have a job because I'm still under 18)
