How to compare garage prices
1. Tap the garages button at the bottom
2. Search or move the map to the area you would like see prices in
3. Switch to the list view by tapping the list button in the upper right
4. Choose from hourly, daily or monthly prices to compare
How to remember where you parked
1. Tap the car button at the top, and then choose save by tapping on the map or at your current location.
2. Save a text note or photo with details such as landmarks or garage area details
3. Later, find your car by getting directions from your current location
This feature will work outside of our parking information coverage areas, so feel free use this app for remembering your spot anywhere in the US.
Smart Reminders
Save your parking spot and get a reminder when its time to move. If you park on the street, the default reminder time is how long you have left to park based on the rules.
NOTE: reminders are currently NOT working due to technical issue with Apple servers. We apologize for this issue and will be replacing the reminder system with a better one in the next update.
Search
Type an intersection, address or landmark in the search box after tapping the search button. Previous search history is automatically bookmarked to call up at a later date.
Daily Parking Regulations & Advisories
Tap the logo to see if alternate side parking regulations are suspended or if there are other advisories you may need to know. Detailed help for using the app is here as well.
PLEASE NOTE:
• You need an internet connection to use PrimoSpot; however, you can pull up your saved parking spot and notes without a connection.
• PrimoSpot works on the iPhone 3GS, 3G or the first generation iPhone. On the first generation iPhone, the position may not be as accurate as the iPhone 3G, and the driving mode may not work as well.
• An iPod Touch is not recommended, since an internet connection is required to load real-time parking information, but PrimoSpot will work when connected to WiFi.
• Please check primospot.com for additional coverage areas as they are added.

Exactly what I was looking forLove the full primospot website, but its not accessible when driving around. The mobile site, though accessible while in the car, is so-so, mostly because its too cumbersome to enter your current address while youre circling and looking for a space, and also because its text-based rather than map-based. This app is perfect. It uses the GPS (or cell towers) to find your location and shows you the map you would get on the full primospot website. In fact, I find this application easier to manipulate than the website itself.

Useful appI travel alot within the local area and often find myself going to neighborhoods where I am unfamiliar with the parking. I use this app to find street parking in Brooklyn where I live and when I have to travel into the city for work. Ive also been using it to get garage information. I use the app at least 2-3 times a week. It has never crashed on me like other parking apps I have tried. Reliable info, easy to use especially with actual pictures of the signs. It would be great if there was more garage pricing though.

Can I please give this app 10 stars!!!Listen! I couldnt be any happier. I am a student who attends school in the city. I never dared drive into the city before. With this app! Forget about it. I drive in the city all the time. I saw a concert at the garden and I found a parking space three blocks away. No kidding! When I see a movie on the west side I can find a parking space with ease. THESE The key to the city. The mayor doesnt have it I got it and the rest of the smart people who purchased this app has it. But in all seriousness, this app is the best buy I have made. Saves time by allowing you to know exactly which streets to look for parking as oppossed to driving around for hours, waistibg time looking on streets restrictions. Bottom line, if you drive to the city, or even live in the city and drive, this is a must have app. I would have paid $10 for this one. Trust me the price your getting it for is a barging. And you will make your money bak ten fold no a hundred fold by picking the best garages and most importantly finding the free parking with little to no head ache at all

Excellant AppAs promised Im changing my review now that Bed Stuy has been added. It has an impressive amount of detail and the NYC Alt Side holiday calendar. Im finally getting some use out of it! Only complaint is the little flags are huge so its sometimes hard to know what street is what unless you really zoom in. Orange, red, yellow and green outlines on either side of the street might make for a cleaner zoomed out view.

The best parking appThis is the best parking app out there. If you live in NYC or are driving there it is a must have. Unfortunately they are still working on their coverage for other cities. The other parking app I tried had national coverage but it was junk. Ill take a solid local app any day over a bad national app.
